How dare you say FV is a bad area of the park, It's propbably the best themed area, best area for world-class attractions and the best area for food.(In the park obviously)
I said it was nowhere near its best, not bad.
With Ripsaw demolished replaced by a piece of inflatable tat, Sub-Terra fenced off, The Blade on its last legs and two roller-coasters with polar opposite clashing themes the area makes no sense. I mean what is it meant to be these days, a post-apocalyptic landscape or a space age virtual reality area? At least AIR had a neutral theme with some continuity with the rest of the area.
The Rollercoaster Restaurant is quality and is one of the few decent investments the park has made recently, but it is overpriced and really belongs near the hotels and not inside the theme park as it is stylised and NOT themed. It just won't be a viable option for most visitors due to price and the need to book in advance. The rest of the food options are mediocre and barely offer a proper meal - a generic coffee shop, burger bar and a donuts stand.
In fact I would go as far as saying FV has never been worse for food options - with the loss of Fish & Chips, Ripsaw Cafe and even further back the Nemesis Nosh, there is nothing in the area for the average day visitor who won't want to spend the time or money in the Rollercoaster Restaurant.
Apart from Nemesis itself the rest of the area is a shambles. It's two rides with totally different themes and nothing in the middle to hold it together. There's no immersion, coherence or variety.
Also not to mention no Nemesis shop. The one ride which you would want to buy merchandise and there is no shop.
