Out of interest, how does the ride run when it’s on 3 trains? When I went it was only running two.
For the third train to be of any use at all I’d assume it’d have to be on the lift while one is finishing the course and the other is in the station? Otherwise surely it’d just stack pointlessly like The Smiler does on 5?

How do they know if it has been three clicks? Is there a sensor or some kind of indicator?
Is this why some rides have 3 LEDs on the back of each chair?

Regarding one click, I refer the honourable gentleman to the story of the enthusiast who thought that one click was only good enough for her ride on the Raven at Holiday World...
It's a factor of safety more than anything I'd wager, granted you'd need severe catastrophic failures to result in the ratchet system going tits up; but 3 clicks presumably gives a sense of it would have to effectively fail 3 times before anything seriously bad would happen...

There didn't seem to be any restraint problems on Wicker Man yesterday from what I saw, didn't see anyone asked to leave.

On all the times I've been on wickerman so far at least one person has a issue with restraints(not me).

I did notice restraints were being pushed all the way back up though, they were pretty quick checks and dispatches were quite frequent as well, and as far as I'm aware it only broke down once, and was just loading up a first train as we got to it the first time.

It will have a lapbar monitoring sensor which will detect when it is down at least one click, and it only needs one click as I've been on it before with just one.
Unfortunately the sensors that GCI have put on it are not the best, so sometimes (most times) it doesn't detect the lapbar is down, signals to the operator that a seat isn't locked, and then to reset that and try again the lapbar needs to be manually opened, brought back up to the top, then pushed down again, resulting in the ridiculous faff that is currently happening whilst loading.
Honestly it would've been better for them to just have seatbelts on it and no lapbar monitoring like every other GCI...

I was sat next to a hefty person today. Ride ops had 1 click but were called back to get another click on the bar. Didn’t happen and they had to do the walk of shame.
They were given a fastrack pass tho.
I guess there’s an upside to being big

Staff seeing a rap wristband can require guests to abide by rap rules and time out, I've been detrained over it before.

No, but it's a fair bit of hassle using fastrack with a rap wristband on, I only got detrained(went VIP ft on Rita with rap band on) but I have heard of others having to argue about timeouts.
To clarify I got made to wait for the next ride due to the 1 rap on ride rule

In my experience it’s RAP or FT at towers, but I think a PRP can be used to avoid a time being written on the card.
I don’t want to derail the topic even more but last year when my leg was hurting so much it was taking me 10 min to walk up the hill from enterprise to the smiler entrance I went to the BO to ask if I could use RAP and FT at the same time and was told I couldn’t.
