^Nice Alee! Bit of a different angle than most of the pictures of Eiffel!
Took a snap of Beetham Tower from the Deansgate tram stop on the way home from college. Turned out quite nice!![]()
Lovely photo, but it is the ugliest tall building in this country. It's an eyesore in the Manchester skyline.

I recently purchased my first DSLR - a very nice Canon EOS 760D. I partly bought it because I've wanted one for a while, partly because my old point-and-shoot got stolen when our house was burgled last year, partly because I've wanted to get more into photography recently, and also because I was going on holiday to Norway and Sweden in July. Two of the most beautiful places I've ever visited. As there'll be quite a few photos, I've put them in spoiler tags. And because there are so many of them, I'll have to split them over a few posts, so apologies in advance for that.

Martin made a new friend. <3
The journey down from Tusenfryd to Gothenburg had some stunning scenic moments like this. Honestly, the photo doesn't do it justice.

Liseberg
The drop out of Helix's station. The start of something epic. <3
This one would've been better with a train on it, but the ride wasn't even running at that time - this was during our behind-the-scenes tour which Liseberg gave us (many thanks to them once again).
One of the wheel assemblies on a Lisebergbananaramabanan train. I'm not sure what it is about this that I like, but there's something about it.
An overview of the hill. Shows just how much is packed onto it.
Helix just as the sun was setting.

Kolmården
The top of Wildfire's lift hill, along with the turnaround and the top of the first drop.
Side view of Wildfire's first drop, complete with train.
Wildfire's first drop, with a stunning view of the lake by Kolmården.
Same as above, but with a bit of the inverted airtime hill as well.
RED PANDA! <3
Few more stunning photos of the lake.
A lynx.
One of the adorable goats in the petting zoo.
"Yes, I know it's feeding time, but I'm quite happy up here, thank you very much."
This photo of a meerkat makes me realise that I should've taken a lens with a greater focal length than 55mm. Not bad, though.
Wildfire train going down the first drop.
Another one of Wildfire. I just couldn't stop taking photos of it, OK?
