Pluk try not to get depressed by others talents. I have got some really good photos over the years with different cameras. I think I have got a few amazingly good shots (even if I do say so myself) and mostly they have been with POS cameras.
My recent one of the plane landing was taken holding the camera so no tripod, and just left in the auto setting at that point. I have not messed about with the photo in photoshop afterwards. Its just a right place at the right time sort of photo.
You dont need to spend hours setting up photos to get them to look nice. Just need a little luck and an eye for a photo.

Thought I may as well put a few more photos in here that I've taken.
Blue Fire in August last year.
Blue Fire again, taken from Bell Rock as the sun was setting.
Atlantica SuperSplash and Wodan at night.
The lift hills of Dragon Khan and Shambhala, taken last week.
Shambhala's splashdown.

I can only find the 'instagramed' ones of a few I took (or I just can't be arsed finding the originals) but there's a couple I like (the originals as well, not just the hipstered-up ones haha). I need me a proper DSLR.
Sunrise in the centre of Paris.
Cat
The Shard
And an original one from Paris

I have taken a couple recently that I really like. There is probably lots of things that make them not great photos but I like them and thats the main thing
How can a picture of a Spitfire not be a great photo?
I love this photo of Krakow. The square is really nicely lit and you can see how the light is showing up from the street lamp on the right hand side. Reminds me of an old film noir style photo.
A memorial to the people that died in the Warsaw uprising. A big wall!
Hope I have not repeated any photos here.

Here's a handful of 'recent' photos taken in the last X months I'm quite fond of.
Ingestre Hall, otherwise known as the Talbot family's former residence, in Staffordshire.
London's South Bank during the spring snow season.
Warwick Castle.
Sir Harold Hilliers' Arboretum and Gardens.
