2015: 40th Anniversary

To be fair, the distance isn't really significant enough to warrant any sort of transport system at the moment, but maybe they're just thinking ahead :p

Well yes I was going to say this. It's not exactly a long walk, in fact it is a very acceptable distance even if you are parked towards the back of the car parks. Most parks wouldn't bother to think of doing anything but this is why I love EP, an investment in something just for the sake of it making things slightly easier for guests with there being very little or no return. I suppose they do say that don't want you to lose any time in your day, as that would be a pity! :p

Confirmation of the following in 2015:

- New transport/improvements for car park to main entrance
- New 4D film
- All-New parade

Plus more to be revealed...

:)

I can feel a 40th anniversary song for the new parade coming on!

:)

I was browsing IAAPA and read the following:

In 2015, Euromaus and his friends are to star in a 4-D movie sequel to the 2012 release, “The Secret of Balthasar Castle.” The new movie will premiere at Europa-Park in time for its 40th anniversary. Guests will join characters including Euromaus, Euromausi, Eurofant, Böckli, and Louis on a “Journey through Europe.”

Sounds fun! :D

Given that the Castle show was probably one of the best 4D shows I've seen, another one can only be seen as another positive...

An article regarding 2015 developments and a tiny bit about the waterpark, including quotes from Roland. Translated to English:
badische-zeitung.de said:
The hum shops. Gives the impression Roland Mack not only today, but on Thursday night at the press conference just before the opening of the 14th winter season at Europa-Park in particular. The park boss was only a few hours earlier returned before the world's biggest fair for rides farmer and farm operators in Orlando / Florida - with a proud chest.

Mack Rides, specializing in eight railway construction and the cradle of the family business in Waldkirch, was honored in Orlando for the best booth and had a lot of applause for a trendsetter get: the combination of roller coaster and theme with Arthur and the Minimoys. The integration of blockbuster movies and park attractions was met with great interest, said Mack. At an amusement park in the US will the concept implemented for the Europa-Park under the direction of Michael Mack, already copied with a Harry Potter version. The investment in "Arthur" and the cooperation with the famous French director Luc Besson is fully paid off for other reasons for the Europa Park. The proportion of French guests in the hotels has already reached 25 percent. An upward trend since the Arthur roller coaster was created as a year-round attraction, will therefore be in the winter season in operation.

And what's next in Rust, after 40 years Europa-Park will be celebrated next year? A spectacular new ride obviously is not on the agenda of the family business. "We are planning for 2016. For large systems we need a certain amount of lead time," said Mack. A new means of transportation for visitors there will be the summer 2015 season yet. The park visitors to be "picked up" already in the parking lot and then get on a conveyor belt to the main entrance. A new 4-D film production and a new choreography of daily parade has also been also announced Roland Mack.

A plea was given by the Park boss once more for the water park. Mack: "Water Park along with hotel projects are to secure sites you are prerequisite to bring guests from further afield to Rust and at the same time to extend their stay in Rust This is also important for the whole region..."

:)

I was watching this video of Silvia.

What struck me about the ride was....

Just how much that guys eyebrows enjoyed it.

A small development for 2015:

Resort hotel guests will now be able to drop their bags off in the morning and check in to their room before they visit the theme park. They will then be able to receive a text message from housekeeping automatically when their room is ready, even if it's long before the 3pm check-in time as advertised, meaning earlier access to rooms for guests.

Simple but good.

:)

They're often ready early too.....

On my last 2 visits (once in colesseo and once in bell rock) the room was ready at mid day when we arrived....

Another brilliant idea though

Expect to see Alton offering this next year, under the name of "Premium Hotel Guest", at an upcharge of £25pp.

Someone in the AP holder FB group has got their hands on a 2015 brochure.

Unknown if 'Beautiful Europe' is the same thing as the European-themed new Euromaus show in the 4D cinema. It could also be the name for the new parade.

Also, this:

Presumably the 'NEU' on the right is the parade, but nobody has ever heard of anything new being built next to the balloons, where some game stalls currently are. Maybe a temporary exhibition about the park? I hope it is a charming little flat ride for families, that would be nice. :)

Is there a chance that it could be a new flat to help soak up the crowds that plague Flug des Ikarus?

2015 starts at Europa-Park devoted to the 40th anniversary of Germany's biggest theme park. The new Europa-Park Park Plan 2015 now revealed many details about what to expect on new features and innovations in the anniversary season - including Surprise attraction!

Full of anticipation, we are eagerly awaiting the 2015 season in the Europa-Park, but we expect that the 40th anniversary of the amusement park is celebrated. A look at the brand new Park Plan 2015 now allows the heart beat faster: All signs point to "NEW" - the Europa-Park in 2015 but have many more new features than previously suspected.

We summarize here together all the novelties and innovations that have been revealed by the Park Plan 2015 and reaffirmed.

  • New attraction - great birthday surprise: In Greek area offers us a new attraction that is not yet known in detail. At the point of the water balloon battle and the basketball booth is on the park map to discover a great gift .
  • Express Lane: A conveyor belt for guests from the parking lot to the main entrance. This new feature is for some time now been officially confirmed .
  • Conversion and extension of Euro-Tower: The observation tower of the Europa-Park is rebuilt and enlarged. What exactly expect, is currently unknown.
  • New themed 40 years Parade: On the occasion of the anniversary, the daily parade is transformed through the Europa Park. This has also been known a few months ago .
  • Whale Adventures - Redesign and Expansion: The attraction Whale Adventures in Iceland's theme is transformed from July 2015 and presented extended. What is being done right here, is not yet known.
  • Transformation Columbus dinghy: The Columbus dinghy, a-go-round in the Spanish theme is redesigned in 2015. How? This is not yet clear here.
  • New park access for hotel guests: In addition to the Arena in the Spanish theme, it is now shifted a bit, give a new access for hotel guests to the park.
  • New 4D film: In the Magic Cinema 4D, a new film will be shown - a turbulent journey of EUR Mouse and his friends through Europe. Also, the 4D movie was already some time ago revealed . To this end, there is already a short teaser trailer .
Another highlight announcing the Europa-Park in the Park Plan 2015 is "Beautiful Europe". It should be able to experience a Europe as you've never seen it. What lies behind it just remains to be seen.

Europa-Park starts on March 28 in the new season 2015th

How exciting! As usual with EP, there's way more than I was expecting. Are they just refurbishing the Tower or buying a new one? The existing one is a bit tired (clunks at the bottom and barely any room inside).

The Whale Adventures refurb is very, very silly but very EP. Roland's Folly II? Is there something new with Arthur or have they just put that because it's not yet a year old?

Also, do these bloody fansites know how to use a scanner?!
