Pleasurewood Hills

Nice to see them refreshing the event rather than running it as it was last year. Carriage 13 will probably be similar to the 'maze' they had in the train carriage last year but at least it has a new theme. And I'm glad that the clown maze has gone, should mean no return of the may contain nuts attraction! :p

I won't be able to go this year but I hope it goes well for them.

:)

This was posted on the official pleasurewood hills facebook page earlier, has anyone on here got any idea what it could possibly be?

That's not cannonball's track, is it? Maybe they're finally getting round to sorting it out!

It's had someone European work on it, judging by the way the 1's are written! :p

Needs paint!

More concerning is they appear to have demolished the train platform thing behind it!

Waltzers always seem more fairground-esque to me, and surely a park like Pleasurewood should have a bigger flat. I dunno, it's all speculation at the end of the day.

Can't cost much though, and if they can only afford a cheap filler attraction for now, it's better than nowt and they're generally popular.

I hate spinny rides but ventured on some a few years ago, I was surprised how much fun they were!

Hmm yeah I see where you're coming from, just for me personally Waltzers have connotations of travelling fairgrounds. But as you say, if it's all they can afford, then I don't blame them for getting one!

After all, it might not even be a Waltzer lol.

The occasional fairground ride in smaller parks is something I generally expect. Considering THORPE have a couple of rides that are staples of fairgrounds, I don't think them getting one is particularly a bad thing.

Saying that, not sure I'd be doing the big mysterious photo thing if it is lol!

If it's a Waltzer, I will cry, Pleasurewood needs theme park attractions not fairground attractions.
