I've always thought that in the first pre-show video when it says "But the story didn't end there...", the rest of the video should be played in the octagon room, followed by the bit about the discovery of the vault. It would really split the first room up nicely and keep the interest and engagement of the riders. It would also provide a reason for entering the octagon room.

Hex also has a rather obscene throughput, since you can have up to 216 within the attraction at any one time, with a further 72 in the batching area... Probably also the lack of knowledge of the attraction does cause a lot of people to not bother with it, but it always has full groups of people on weekends... Might as well get rid of Duel since that also never has a queue...

Building filler rides with high throughputs can only help benefit the park, as it allows people to get that feeling of value for money... Whilst also providing support to the rides when they inevitably break down...

Duel is a ride I love. Why do we need a re-theme.reuse of the structure when an extra indoor ride somewhere else on the park would help with rainy weather. How about coaster corner?

I think after SW8 should it be happening, I'd like to see another park dark ride (as you can never have too many dark rides) as the next big thing depending how WC16 turns out.

Coaster corner would be a great spot (considering its wasted industrial area & unsuitable for a coaster due to close proximity to locals).

Would like to see Charlie sorted though, don't like that ride do much.

@Benzin I always see people walking into Duel, but the reason it *never* has a queue is not because it's unpopular (because it's not unpopular!), but due to how the transit system means the throughput is fantastic. :)

That was my point, since Hex has a fantastic throughput as well... But, you know, reading posts and stuff...

Ah, thanks.

I only remember the beast being down where air is. I think I was a wee nipper when it was over in "coaster corner"

It is, I believe currently used by Merlin Studio's North (or whatever they are calling themselves at the moment) and general storage.

I wonder if a similar idea Wardley had for SW7 could end up being SW8 doubt it but you never know.

I cant exactly remember but it was a drop coaster in Katanga Canyon (maybe free fall) but was rejected as it never had an USP John Wardley said it in an interview. Id imagine there may be some basic plans so if the cross valley fails planning there could still be plans resulting in a slightly less rushed coaster than the smiler.
