Interesting... wonder why? It's still attracting queues so I wonder if it's either having some maintenance done to it that can't wait or they're preparing to upgrade or remove it?

Pretty sure flume must be cost cutting. They have four months of closed season to do what ever they want to do to it (clean, paint, etc) closing it for another few weeks won't make much difference.

But for a ride that probably doesn't get many guests and needs 4 or 5 staff to run, plus the cost of running the ride. It will probably save them a bit of cash!

Same at Thorpe with tidal wave being closed.

Must be a recent decision as only a few days ago towers were saying on Twitter flume closes as dusk during Scarefest.

When they close a ride like flume or sub-terra do the staff just get told not to come in or are they moved to other areas?

Last week a lot of ride ops got moved around park from their usual rides, was told it was because they were short staffed, may be a way of releasing people to staff other rides.

Lots of downtime at the park today - Duel was closed for most (if not all) of the day, Ripsaw was stop-start as they seemed to be having trouble with the restraints, and Rita was closed for a little while for a cleanup after some poor soul was a little bit sick on it (eww.) Oblivion's queue-line was closed off at one point but by the time I'd been on Enterprise and come back to it it was open again. Fairly busy day on the whole, lots of walk-ons but some of the queues (Rita, Spinball, Th13teen) reached up to 30-35mins at various points in the day.

However ... Last hour I managed 6 Rita walkons 4 of them front row.. :D

Yeah, it did suddenly become deserted towards the end of the day following a rush after lunch. I remember walking into DF at about 3.30 and thinking it must have been closed because the queue lines were empty!

Yea sat on towers street feeding the ducks then looked at ride times ... 0 mins ! Would have been wrong not to pay a visit. Don't know where everyone went, dark forest probably ate them.

Noticed blivy is closed this morning and she was closed yesterday afternoon anyone know what's wrong with her?

Where has that date come from?

Terror of the Towers is now on ride times in the scare section.
Last night, enterprise, blade mayhem and heave ho were under scare, now they have moved to family (other than enterprise, it is now in thrill for some reason)

No sub species, Molly Crowe or ripsaw yet, but im sure they will appear at some point today.

Molly Crowe and Sub Species have been added, what I don't understand though is that they haven't added Ripsaw, but they've done Enterprise, Marauder's, The Blade and even Heave Ho!
