Food and Beverage 2016

Great that is what I thought but wanted to check thanks. Will need somewhere for a beer with 3 kids in tow!

Give the kids booze to shut them up?!
I wish I'd given mine something today to shut them up! The queue for the RMT was unbearable today with those 2 fighting around my ankles. And the tantrum from my 4 year old son everytime we go and I have to explain to him he's not allowed on Nemesis.

I forgot to ask, does the Courtyard Tavern serve any food? Two days eating lunch + dinner in the park and I'm running out of acceptable options since Tower Grill has same menu as Woodcutters (I read) and unimpressed with BK last time I went.

Eastern Express just round the corner does pretty good kebabs,
though you don't get a season pass discount...
disgraceful.
Goes well with a beer.

No they don't do food, and towers bar and grill is closed till the summer anyway!

There is eastern express, fried chicken co and also pizza pasta as options. Or if you just want a snack there are hot dogs and pasties in mutiny bay and sandwiches, etc in corner coffee and CBeebies lunchbox.

The prices in Eastern Express are pretty decent. Food is good quality also.

Funnily enough it's not a Merlin outlet.

Says it all, frankly. I'd say it's worth getting the chains back to Towers, and not just places like McDonald's, Burger King, KFC and Pizza Hut. I think it'd be worth getting something like Subway in somewhere - possibly Dark Forest.

But don't go expecting a season pass discount on your kebab,
rotters.
Not owned by Merlin (it's the only one left that isn't) which is why the MAP discount is not applicable in there.

Like others have said above, inclusion of some more brands may not be a bad thing though... They wouldn't close on off days since they wouldn't be run by Merlin and they may even force Merlin's hand with competitive pricing and food quality.

Would love some kind of decent sandwich option, be that an own brand or the inclusion of something like Subway. Shame Roast n Relish seems to have been scrapped because I always wanted to see one of those at Towers.
