- The monorail station at the entrance looks filthy inside and needs a good clean and fresh paint
- The first ride we went on was the Tree Top Adventure. The handrail within the queue line is in a terrible state and is in desperate need of a paint or varnish (a couple of hours work...come on AT)
- On the Postman Pat ride, Mrs Goggins post office was again dirty. Cobwebs all over the shelves and the labels on the jam jars had all peeled off.

Towers Loving Care
I think they have a deal with English Heritage to make sure there is a certain amount of restoration to be undertaken on the towers. I read that this was part of the deal to allow Hex to be built in the first place. However the work on the garden structures (gothic tower) could be part of the deal with planning of the expansion of the resort.

Not that I like the midweek closure, at least we can see somethings happening. Not great photos though, hard to see any improvement (not that I really go into ccl anyway)

It is already recycled. Doesn't help when some numpty presses the wrong button tho.
Get use to crystal clear waters from now till the end of time.

They need a separate storage tank for when excess water gets into the system, and create a sealed water system. There's only 1 thing I want from TLC, and that is NEMESIS BLOOD WATERFALLS!!!
Not next year. Not next month. Not next week. NOW! Right now.

Current system was good enough for 20+ years. If the main pool over flows again they can just pump it out into a water bowser and have it disposed of properly.
There really is no excuse for not running the water falls. The fact Towers aren't even running them with just clear water is even worse.

They are running with clear water though? Least they have been on my visits.
I agree that they should be red though, really makes a big difference. I know there have been issues and I know they've decided red is no longer an option but they really should find a way around it.

The water will never run red again as the environment agency had pretty much told them if there is another contamination of the local water system they will take legal action.
the existing system doesn't work as there have been multiple times the lake has been accidentally pumped out, and I doubt the accountants will pay thousands of pounds for a redesign. And the falls do run clear, but since 1994 the pumps don't run if the lake water is high.

My point exactly. This needs to happen.

Had a great day at AT last weekend and generally found the park to be in good shape. However a few noticeable disappointments to report:
Anyway I am delighted to confirm that everywhere else was looking good - hopefully an encouraging sign of things to come.

then maybe they ought to start a project called "CBeebies Land Loving Care"!Had a great day at AT last weekend and generally found the park to be in good shape. However a few noticeable disappointments to report:
CBeebies needs to give people a good first impression, especially as most young families head there first before venturing into other areas of the park.
