Got pinned to the point of almost feeling sick on Thirteen yesterday. Is this normal? Girl next to me gave up and climbed out as they insisted on one more click which they couldn’t get. They then returned to check mine another twice and just pushed it further and further into my gut. Most painful ride I’ve ever had on a coaster by far. Hugely unpleasant. I’m a little overweight but not massive and didn’t have an issue on any other ride. Are the ride ops normally that aggressive on this ride?

Mate, wickerman has been off n on all day with 3 hour queues. They clearly, yet again, haven’t prepared for the inevitable busy day that was going to occur for the “official” open day of the ride. Not to mention that it’s the weekend. Other rides have been on 1 or 2 trains, oblivion had another car put on the track causing more delays.
I’d be amazed if anyone got on more than 2 or 3 rides if they queued for wicker.

I queued for Wicker. Great ride, ruined by terrible ops today.

I can't actually fault anyone though. New intake of staff with new ride. Seemingly working all week.

Similar story here. Did Smiler, Nem and Wicker all once.

This season will see me visiting off peak more methinks.

I'm not surprised, like I said earlier, operations were bad on a quiet day due to the cuts. I did say that I dread what it would be like on a busy day. Here is what I posted on here a few days ago

Was on park today. Despite the park being empty, the cuts can clearly be felt. I dread what it's going to be like on a busy day.

I just about did everything on a quiet day

At this rate it will get to the point that regular weekday visitors will even be put off even bothering to go if you end up having to spend all day in queues just for a few rides. I think this is the first time I'm genuinely concerned that it won't be worth bothering to go, especially with the increased loss of SRQ.

Same thought here,

Not just the lost of the SRQ, but the rides are open so late and when they break down, it has a knock on effect. Even if the Dark forest opens at 10.30, it would be better than 11. As much as I love Oblivion, I really wanted to move on to some other rides before the queues built up. I just got bored spending just an hour on Oblivion with nothing else to go on (I didn't fancy another ride so early on Wicker man and the Smiler was down until 11.10)

I had the worst day i have ever had on any theme park today

Got through the gates at 930 and straight to wickerman....queued until it got closed without getting on

Had 2 rides on the rapids,2 on duel and 1 on both blade and RMT (we have a 7 year old and a 10 year old so did these rides to make up for making them wait in WM queue for 3 hours with no ride)

As we came off the rapids i noticed WM effects and soundtrack were back on so got in the overflow queue

waited about 45 minutes watching the empty trains and staff happily riding it then decided to cut our losses and go home after an announcement i couldn't quite hear but lots of others left the queue who heard it properly

A total waste of time and petrol for a 200 mile round trip and i really was looking forward to today after watching the ride be built all last year

Hey how. I still enjoyed today. Bad queues but as soon as we get chatting with other people in the queues it's alright!

Operations today were ABYSMAL. Everyone in the queue was becoming visibly annoyed waiting in the Galactica station while the ops on several occasions let 1/2 people on a row. Eg, two people batched onto a row, get on the ride, two more people batched into airgate of same row before restraints have been lowered, and made to wait for next train.

SRQ removal is the icing on the cake. And by the looks of it, the park wasnt even that busy today! Imagine if we have some decent weather next Weekend or what school trip season will be like!

The weather is going to be shyte over Easter weekend, so that coupled with fifty thousand bad reviews on Trip Advisor and Twitter from this weekend might make Joe Public go elsewhere, meaning us nutters who made the unfortunate decision to visit next week hoping they'd be two weekends of good operations previously to bed things in don't end up regretting it too much.
