Flat Rides: What would you like to see come to the park?

Something like that could also work in X-Sector (tree height?), I think. Although, some people I've talked to think that the ride "looks a bit tacky" for some reason... I mean, it would obviously have more theming added if Towers were to get one (unlikely, I know)! Merlin, c'mon, we want more flats!!

The Cyborg Cyberspin one that has just opened doesn't look tacky or fairground-ish at all. ABC have made it into a permanent model and made it look quiet nice. Well thats my opinion from seeing it last week.

Some people seemed to think it does. To be honest, I don't think it does look tacky though, and with some theming added to make it relevant to whatever area of the park it could be placed in would help make it look a bit more attractive and permanent looking perhaps.

I sincerely hope they’re going nowhere soon. The park needs those flats to increase their overall throughput, even if it’s to reduce load on the other major rides.

I can’t imagine the Forbidden Valley and X-Sector without these flats, and I think their neighbouring rides would struggle. The Blade and Enterprise are old, it would be great to see them replaced for newer models (like the one at Drayton Manor, for the blade) - I won’t push it though, I just want them to stay for a while (especially as they fit in with the surrounding areas).

I’d rather see them stay whilst the park can look at getting other Flats, and then replacing them when there is a suffice number of other Flats to absorb the crowds. But who knows when the park will invest in Flats again. I imagine they’ll be removed when their continual maintenance cost outweighs their value.

I agree I can't see Blade or Enterprise leaving anytime soon. They offer something for children too young for the larger rides but too old for CBeebies land. Also Enterprise was overhauled a few years back.

To be honest I'm not a fan of flat rides (makes me sick) but I don't want to see them go, since I know many enjoy them. The only non coaster I went on was Hex, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Maybe more themed experiences similar to that, rather than traditional flat rides would be good.

In short: reopen Nemesis Sub Terra

Seems at tad unnecessary to replace Blade with a new model IMO. It's only a swinging ship at the end of the day, and Blade does the job just fine.

The money could be much better invested towards a new flat :)

Completely agree with Cyborg Cyber Spin - that would look incredible in X Sector, not tacky at all if themed adequately. It seems capacity could be an issue though.

Ride Engineers Switzerland (RES) do a double version of that called Stormforce 20.

Would double the capacity and be amazing to watch. :)

What’s in forbidden forest ?

Ideal world I'd put something back in the Valley to replace Ripsaw, I'd pension off Blade and replace with another family thrill flat, I'd put 2 new flats in the Forest, I'd retheme CCL to a pirate area and ship some of Mutiny Bays current rides there and add more rides and retheme the Bay to the Wickerman Bjornen Village and install 2 new flats to replace the relocated rides, X Sector would see Enterprise being binned and replaced and a new family thrill flat in the Submission memorial garden.

The new ride types? A Top Scan to replace Enterprise, a Mondial Shake on the Ripsaw site, a Topspin akin to Talocan quality in the Forest, a rethemed Toadstool to join it in the Forest (I'd retheme the Forest back to a raceway tbh), a Breakdance near Wickerman, a new pirate ship in the retheme CCL and make the family thrill rides decent and decent capacity.

I've had a think about what you've said @Log Flume's Dennis. And I've decided that yes, an Oblivion style flume really would be freakin intense.
For too long has the log flume been a dying breed. But no longer.

This is what I would like to see come to the park.

As for Forbidden Valley, whilst these ideas sound a little far fetched I hope you agree with them. I was thinking an abc Tourbillon with a rusted appearance would be a suitable replacement of Ripsaw and a Huss Giant Fisbee would be a good improvement on Sub Terra, although they'll need to do a bit of digging for it.
