Lightwater Valley

I'm so glad I managed to get on Ultimate when I did, really can't see it re-opening at this point if they're removing more family-orientated rides than itself in order to work towards a more "family market".

Of course I'd like to be proven wrong, but with Raptor Attack gone that's even more of a reason not to return.
Yeah with Raptor Attack gone I definitely won't be returning. :(

Lights a candle in memory of Raptor Attack

I never got to ride Eagles Claw as I always chickened out. Wish I had been braver now. :(

Are we taking this as confirmation that The Ultimate WILL reopen this season then?

Might be worth one final trip
I'd be very surprised if the Ultimate stays for any length of time as it is the only thrill ride left, although removal costs could cause them to delay it maybe. Plus with no other thrill rides there a lot of people will be put off coming just for the Ultimate.

Also I wonder what will happen to the rapids and the dinghy slide? Will be an extra blow if they are removed as well. I'll never forget being evac'd from the rapids lift in 2019, plus having to switch chutes on the dinghy slide after being seated. :p

The dinghy slide wasn't that dingy.
Boom boom.
Fixed. :)
Was a good set of slides as well. :(

Eagle's Claw and Ulty were the only two things worth going for, if Ulty fails to open no need to return.

Given that Flambards in Cornwall is owned by the same company, does that mean we're looking at two parks in danger? Livingstone Leisure bought Flambards out of administration, so if Livingston Leisure goes into administration, I can't see there being a queue of theme park operators wanting to buy it.
