Yeah with Raptor Attack gone I definitely won't be returning. :(

Lights a candle in memory of Raptor Attack

I never got to ride Eagles Claw as I always chickened out. Wish I had been braver now. :(

This feels exactly like what happened to American Adventure... I can’t see the park sustaining for much longer :-(

I completely agree. Hope I'm wrong but I won't be surprised if the move backfires them.

Are we taking this as confirmation that The Ultimate WILL reopen this season then?

Might be worth one final trip

I'd be very surprised if the Ultimate stays for any length of time as it is the only thrill ride left, although removal costs could cause them to delay it maybe. Plus with no other thrill rides there a lot of people will be put off coming just for the Ultimate.

Also I wonder what will happen to the rapids and the dinghy slide? Will be an extra blow if they are removed as well. I'll never forget being evac'd from the rapids lift in 2019, plus having to switch chutes on the dinghy slide after being seated. :p

I'm not sure, the page hasn't been updated since the closed for 2020 message.

Raptor Attack and Eagle's Claw were the only decent rides the park had.

    Nail in the coffin.

Clearance bakery stock by the entrance, anyone?

The dinghy slide wasn't that dingy.
    Boom boom.

Terrible news, need to stop putting off trips to parks. Had intended to visit last year after the new coaster at Flamingo Land opened. If The Ultimate isn't opening I'll never have a reason to visit the park.

Really hoping they reopen the Ultimate this year. But I feat this is the end of the park.

I mean the rapids was a good family ride so why would they remove that one?

Yeah, that's what I can't get my head around, definitely a nail in the coffin I think. That's a family ride, not a thrill ride!

Did they own the likes of the rapids or were they on lease?

Raptor Attack was a family coaster too, the removals make no sense under the "family friendly" umbrella they're classing them as. It's a clear cost cutting measure IMO and a sign that the park is on its last legs.

Eagle's Claw and Ulty were the only two things worth going for, if Ulty fails to open no need to return.

Given that Flambards in Cornwall is owned by the same company, does that mean we're looking at two parks in danger? Livingstone Leisure bought Flambards out of administration, so if Livingston Leisure goes into administration, I can't see there being a queue of theme park operators wanting to buy it.
