It’s not ready yet. Mandy T said it’ll be open by February half term though, so that’s looking promising! Not yet. Take a seat on the new bench and wait.

Would almost certainly be Schilke smooth to sit on.Long shot, but hear me out. I know they're noisy and will be hard to get planning for but could we be seeing an RMC conversion for the bench? Wooden supports with steel I box slats seems plausible to me.

Merlin: invests in new hyper coaster, duel refurb, Nemesis retrack, duelling coaster, b&m wing coaster including new area and supporting flats, indoor attraction (most likely a new coaster), colossus retrack (potential big refurb), new waterpark and probably even more.

Well I can't think of any other benches being built in other parks right now can you? So case closed.
It has to be the new bench because I looked at the VAT number on my receipt for a white Magnum I bought in the Duel shop and it looked like RAL codes. Now if you rearranged those numbers into something completely different then lick your finger and stick it in the air, you come up with 2 colours. So definitely a black bench with red support legs.

proof?
The teaser posters had a number of codes which match the RAL codes of the colours of the bench.
God was also seen nearby and confirmed to an onlooker this would be the colour scheme.
Then John Wardley walked past holding a can of WD40 in deep conversation with Garry Ridge.
If this isn’t proof then I don’t know what is.
