[2024] Nemesis Reborn: Construction and Speculation

Hopefully they keep on top of the paintwork. Worn rails will look crap against the black and red.
The rails are going to look worn pretty much from as soon as they start cycling trains. So it is safe to say they will always look worn, as they will not be painting the rails every week.

I agree with you, although I haven't seen it in person yet. I am surprised that I like it because I was originally against black track for Nemesis.I’ve probably said this before, but the track design is really growing on me now it’s in; it looks quite striking, particularly from afar!
I also think it will pair well with the (seemingly) darker station design.

I'm sure this is hugely unlikely, but there seems to be quite the delay on the installation (or even appearance) of Nemmie"s final track segment
Wonder if B and M could have delayed fabrication of the final piece until micro measurements are taken to ensure that it fits perfectly. This would avoid what happened with The Smiler where they had to literally bend the final piece into place under great pressure (though to be fair B and M are not Gerstlaur,).

I've heard December, if that's the case then testing will probably take place during late-ish closed season.I'm sure this is hugely unlikely, but there seems to be quite the delay on the installation (or even appearance) of Nemmie"s final track segment
That's my thought as well. Scaffolding might be in the way as well too. Probably just easier to wait until everything is finished on the lift to avoid potential damage to the new track.Perhaps they've still got a bit of work to do on the lift, so they're holding off on installing it until that's complete. Suppose there's stuff like repainting, servicing, new chain etc. to go in.
They could definitely use joining up the last piece as part of the PR campaign as well.

My thoughts too; wouldn't be surprised if the final piece is a player in the unfolding 'cinematic' storyline.They could definitely use joining up the last piece as part of the PR campaign as well.
Perhaps waiting for the station to be complete? Who knows

I'd love it if they had some sort of event when the final piece goes in - as in the monster comes 'alive' now it's complete.My thoughts too; wouldn't be surprised if the final piece is a player in the unfolding 'cinematic' storyline.

I imagine flying a drone over the park like this is probably a No-No, but still interesting view. Seems one of the 'Claws' is still in place behind the turn into the lift.

Always good to support local businesses!A local scaffolding firm or two are making a killing out of this project!
Just hope they don’t do like every scaffolding firm and leave it up for 6 months afterwards to save on their own yard storage feesAlways good to support local businesses!

From TS' Facebook, scaffolding now covers both Nemmy's entrance structure and the Mushroom Cloud Tour Bus;

Will be interesting to see if anything changes with either of them.

A friend was on park today and riding Galactica when they spotted some green netting now covering the openings in Nemmy's storage shed. We know the brakes were recently stored in there. Could they be preparing for the arrival of the trains or is it a little early yet?
