Does anyone know why this was SBNO at Camel Creek Adventure in 2023 (and why they sold it)? You do have to laugh a little at Lightwater Valley opening up a third-hand Zyklon that originally came from a park in Bulgaria when some people were saying when LWV was sold to it's new owners that the park could have a bright future. It was so obvious that this was the kind of level of investment that would be seen under a company that runs a seaside pier amusement park.

I've always wondered why the name Zyklon was ever used. Not like there b any negative connotations or anything to it.

Idk if I’m missing a joke here but isn’t ‘Zyklon’ German for ‘Cyclone’?

I actually went to Camel Creek last year as was holidaying down there; judging by the state of it last year, I'm amazed that this ride has been bought by someone else for further use.

Decrepit and abandoned, and then some!!! Looked absolutely horrific and a long long way from ever running again. I did hear a rumour it had been condemned, so even more surprised its rocked up at LWV as a new ride.

I've just been reading around on some other forums and I've also seen the suggestion that the ride was beyond economical repair, that it apparently looked like it was ready to collapse (in the words of one post), and that when it had been running it was rough and painful. I'm very suprised that it wasn't just sold for scrap. I'm getting a really bad feeling about this coaster, as I really hope this doesn't have a terrible outcome at some point.

I'm convinced Lighter water Valley is being run by Trotters independent traders

It didn't ride too horrifically a couple of years ago for a Zyklon. Thankful for having the +1 so I can avoid LWV
