We finally know for sure what new attraction next year will be placed. Bobbejaanland since this afternoon The Attraction type itself provides few surprises other hand, the manufacturer does.
Bobbejaanland opens next spring called immersive tunnel, a mega simulator in which visitors sitting in a moving trolley watch a 3D movie which for them is projected. The Spanish investment company Parques Reundios, owner of Bobbejaanland, suggested five million euros. I'm not sure it's a gimmick, really? I really like this style of ride - sure it'll be fun. I'd take Gold Rush or a Sky Rocket 2 over Icon any day of the week. The latter, sadly... It's such a boring gimmick. Looks great on paper but once you're on the ride it's just dull. Full Throttle's triple launch section really killed the pacing and added nothing to it for me.
In the odd circumstance, mainly where space for full launch run is limited, a multi-launch like this is necessary. Gale Force is a prime example of this. But with many coasters I get the impression it's there for marketing only and covers up the park's desire to save on paying for a more powerful launch. Full Throttle's made no sense to me whatsoever.I'm not sure it's a gimmick, really? I really like this style of ride - sure it'll be fun. I've only been to Bobbejaanland once, thought it was a cool little park. Here's a great unofficial website for the park.
