Another vote for trap door slides. First one I done was at SeaWorld Aquatica and the act of transfering your weight from the platform to the trapdoor took longer than I had anticipated. Even had the 20 year old operator give it a "You Alright, mate". Love them now though.
Summit Plummet is...
I'm at 99.
Front row on Taron next Tuesday for 100 is my plan (unless it breaks down etc and then F.L.Y. will have to do).
I've actually been on more than 99 but if I cant nail it down specifically on Coaster-Count then I don't count it. For example I rode 4/5 coasters at Winter Wonderland...
Thought this may be an interesting topic.
My wife recently received a "50 Scottish Gins" scratch-off poster as a gift. It got me thinking of how I'd love a rollercoaster one.
What coasters do we all think should be included on a 50 European Coasters scratch off? Rules are 1 coaster per park...
No issues with this at all. Look at Toadstool (or the versions before it).
Remove the tacky arcade from Dark Forrest, put a Waltzer base into that building and run it in the dark, with wraiths hanging from the roof and some green spotlights. Even minimal theming can make a huge difference.
Im heading out to Phantasialand for the first time next month and this thread has been very helpful.
Do anyone have any more advice for first time visitors? Im visiting Tues 18-Wed19th of Oct.

I'm staying offsite...
I'll wonder if they'll be any attempt to theme them, or if they'll just be dumped as they are.
I expect they'll go with a dodgems as Chessington and Thorpe's are reasonably popular.
I hope this increases demand for a more permanent installation in future years.
Just reporting what I've heard, but allegedly the boy was conscious when medics arrived and his injuries are not life threating.
Hope he makes a full recovery.
Can anyone tell me if Thorpe or Chessington tend to do February half term opening?
I'm hoping to be down in London next year and would love to visit one or the other.
