That and you probably wouldn't want to be chilling in a pool in a giant greenhouse.. and in winter it would feel like a massive fridge. It's definitely more reasonable now! :)

That and probably the fact that glass has an awful thermal mass to it. Winter = Lots of constant heating required = spenny. Summer = Basically a greenhouse = unbearable. I think the new design looks a lot better anyway, looks to have more greenery situated around the building too!

Could we potentially see them aiming to get the track sorted for fireworks and do something similar to the Nemesis 22 closing ceremony? With them adding actors, and special effects to get the hype going for the 24 opening?

I think they could potentially use subterror for another scare maze. It'll be good to have the mazes situated around the park and not just all bunched up in the towers area. Plus if they do decided to use the drop towers of sub-terror(ible) it would really add to the experience... So fingers...

Looks to me that they've circled an existing tree and it's going to be removed.

Taken yesterday, any clue why the "show" has been dismantled?

Operations at the park have been abismol today. Half the park closed midday.. oblivion dispatching every 5 minutes... the list goes on.. Do feel they’ve had a power within the dark Forrest, everything and the sky ride has gone down. It’s honestly super disappointing to see the park is such a state.

anyone know why the fire effects haven't been working for the past week? already out of gas?

It actually really disappoints me that UK parks don't do constructions / planning updates like many of the European parks do. Especially with all the effort they go too, telling stories and providing glamour construction shots. Its such a great way to advertise the park, new areas, and build...

Alton Towers have probably got a sponsorship with Pepperami. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a screaming pepperami on the Wicker Man advert in the next coming weeks. :D

Walking Dead- The Ride new entrance has been leaked... safe to say, it looks terrible. I really hope that this isn't its finished state..

I can see this being some sort of Fire Breathing show, especially with the platform's matching those we saw on the wickerman VIP event.

Its also running 3 train operations! Must be preparing to get into a routine for the weekend :cool:

The last thing Alton Towers would want, is to run a ride which they're still learning the condition for it to run in, for it to valley. That's the last thing that Towers need, when they're just regaining peoples trust. I don't really see the big issue, it'll probably have two soft openings...
