2012/3 Closed Season Updates (pictures inside!)

It's nice to see ATH getting attention to detail yet again! The new show also looks interesting! It the frame just a cardboard cut out placed onto a plasma btw? Presumably for advertising?
 
Yes its a plasma TV, the TV has been there for a while and last year had general adverts for entertainment, and usually some videos of past shows, but it never had a boarder round it. This boarder is plastic I think.

I think they have also added another TV the same on the floor of the toilets, but this currently has no boarder. They were also all switched off when I was there.

Alton Towers Hotel has started its renovation with the bedrooms on the third floor currently being turned into suites as well as some being refurbished :)
 
Couldn't get any photos but the Waterpark is looking good after its maintenance. Some nice colourful new fencing on the steps leading up to the slides. I'm sure someone will be able to get some photos this weekend!

The steps have needed a re-paint for a long time! Nice to see they've finally seen some TLC :D
