They could have repainted the cars though, there is lots of exposed patches of metal where paint has rubbed off. The rubber/foam leg holders look very worn as well.

So i assume you're given some sort of paper mask that stops you touching the actual headset and the units simply get taken out in front of you and put over the paper thing maybe to save constant cleaning?
If it's water mist I sure as hell hope they bother to pressure wash that portal now and again to keep it looking nice, turned out a lot better than i was expecting it to!

Seems the other bits of themeing never happened then from the original planning permission.
Hmmmmm where have we seen the before??? It also doesn't look like the track has been painted....
This could be great, or a nail in AIR's coffin. I guess it is a watch this space scenario

I just wish the theming and even logo and everything for Galactica stayed the same colour as Air, as now everything is dark blue, the track just looks odd.

A bit late to the discussion I know but I've just stuck the VR preview through my 3d TV and it looks pretty impressive with some decent depth. The music sounds like something off the Tron Legacy sound track.

Judging by the article above, there hasn't even be much of a rebrand unless you count adding a TV screen!
