http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-36956418 but the worth of £1 has dropped, which is a rather major problem for parks currentlyErm, we haven't quite left the EU yet. Just to clarify![]()
I've ridden them so much over the years that I can't justify wasting the time standing around.
This is the exact reason we didn't bother queueing for rides on Fireworks night last year. It was freezing and we'd rather get a good space on the green than queue much to long for rides we'd been on hundreds of times before.

The temperature was below zero degrees Celsius? It was freezing .
So instead of queuing and moving you went and stood still on a piece of exposed land?

Just seen a post on facebook about repainted trains on Rita.
I did notice this today! However, it seems that the weathered effect that was applied when the Dark Forest took over has for whatever reason mostly come off. They are now near enough back to their original blue and purple colour schemes with flame decals

For any Towers Ruins fans, I've been VERY reliably informed that the Towers not being opened today was not intentional. They should be open (today was a mistake) and efforts will be ongoing to ensure that they stay open for their usual span that can be expected these days. Obviously some parts are closed as usual and they will be closed later on in the year. Nice to know we can have an explore for part of the year though

... Because Rita wasn't enough of a theme-upfrak already.
I'll believe that when I see it.

It sounded as though it would be sorted ASAP (tomorrow). Tuesday at the latest though for definite.
This just in: Alton Towers have confirmed on Twitter that Charlie is gone for good.

Though, we already knew that. But it does mean that almost that entire side of the park is empty (Cloud Cuckoo).

Wait, so they've finally admitted Charlie is closed.... a year after it closed? These Merlin marketing types have a bright future ahead of them in the propaganda industry.
Did they include it in the TLC closures?
