This would be a huge loss if true. An attraction that caters for anyone. It's good fun when all the effects are working. And will be even better with views of Wickerman.
When was last years line up confirmed,?
 
Absolutely atrocious if true. Perhaps another letter to Varney is in order? A major family attraction like that being closed reflects poorly on the park not just to enthusiasts, but also to the GP.

I wouldn't even bother wasting your ink.

They simply do not care about their customers' opinions; they seem determined to run the park into the ground.

They cannot close the rapids. No way. Its a huge attraction, very popular in the summer, and is vital to Katanga Canyon. They may close it in the winter months perhaps, but if they close it through the summer I will be extremely unhappy, as will the other guests who visit each year.
 
What flipping summer!
I'm a bloody gardener.
We didn't have a summer last year, Spring turned straight to sodding Autumn on July 1st.
 
Well, the ERT Line up has been announced and includes, Spinball Whizzer, Cbeebies Land and...

Wicker Man.

Also, ERT is from 9:30am but the parks opening hours have yet to be confirmed... They are really banking on WM not to have any issues as if it has problems ERT consists of Cbeebies and Spinball. Also this bit of texts seems to hint that ERT is for hotel guests and MAP's only.

Early Ride Time is only available for guests who have booked tickets alongside accommodation packages or are Merlin Annual Passholders.

In a way its better to have half hour of ERT on attractions close to the gate with a more limited group (ie not including all other pre-booked tickets). An hour but allowing all pre-booked means that there is a lot more people trying to use it!
 
To continue the outrage:

In addition to the rides in Early Ride Time, our other fantastic rides, attractions and areas around the theme park open from 10am - Young families can enjoy CBeebies Land and thrill seekers can head to X-Sector for The Smiler, Oblivion & Enterprise in X-Sector with Marauder's Mayhem and Heave Ho! in Mutiny Bay also open. Selected rides & attractions opening later include:- Dark Forest, Cloud Cuckoo Land, Sharkbait Reef by SEA LIFE, Battle Galleons, Runaway Mine Train and Hex which open at 11am, the Skyride which opens at 11.30am and Forbidden Valley, Duel and Congo River Rapids* which open at 12.

We have different ride close times throughout our season, but it is the queue lines which close at this time. If you are in the queue at the closing time, you will still get chance to ride one last attraction! The Theme Park will be close an hour after ride close.

* Congo River Rapids will be open 26th May – 4th September 2018

As anticipated then. A disgrace. How any paying customer could look at this and not begin to think of complaining even before their day has begun would baffle me. Imagine getting to the park at 9:30 and realising you can't actually ride the best coaster until 12 - and then realising that was standard operations!
