You can do amazing things simply with pools of coloured light picking things out from the darkness. You don't need fancy fixtures, good old PARcans are still the industry workhorse. Anything is better than white floodlights.

This is all very fresnelling! It's important to open our irises up to the importance of audio/visual elements to the theming of a ride. Let's not view bad lighting choices of the past through Rosco 342 tinted lenses.
