Tbh staff aren’t going to do / say anything negative are they. But does look fun!

Seems the photo is being used in some sort of squabble, after all didn’t Attraction Images have to remove a video?
Strictly speaking they didn't have to they were asked to.

Here's your citation :p

I'm not expecting an airtime machine like El Toro - it is a GCI after all but I'm sure there will be a few pops of air.

Also can't get over how good the wicker man actually looks. Night and day compared to the cheap looking Marmaliser!

It's surpassed all expectations with how it looks for sure. They've done an incredible job to give them their credit.

Yeah, Jack is going to get in serious trouble for uploading that picture of staff rides. They were all told strictly no photos / recording.

It looks really good anyway.
That explains who the tweet was sent to. There’s always one idiot. Tweet appears to have been removed

What did the tweet depict/show? I never saw it, so I would be interested to know.

Thanks @ringo! Looks great fun! This is definitely opening on 17th March now. If not, Merlin/Towers are taking the biscuit a bit, as if the ride is ready for staff to ride, then it's ready for the public to ride on 17th March 2018!

Please have some respect for those that do work in the Entertainments department at Towers. There are some good people.
Knowing the team at Towers your comments seem to be little more than professional rivalry being exercised over a forum where you know they cannot come and defend themselves.

I don't care.

If you're so emotionally tied to the park that you get offended on behalf of other people then there's something not quite right isn't there?

It's a public company at the end of the day, and we can criticise it however we want. Being too soft is hardly going to encourage changes.

If they don't like it, they can just do better or suck it up.

Right let’s get back on topic please! At TowersStreet we aim to be a friendly and welcoming community and making remarks about how good people are at their jobs is not that!

Let’s keep on topic and keep it friendly and civil! Thank you.

From what I can gather...

You enter a room constructed from twigs and hay, with LED lighting from the roof down and carvings engraved on the floor. Rocks also show the outline of the runes which are associated with the ride. The doors close, and a video is projected on a cloth in front of the room. The style of this cartoon has been likened to this scene in Harry Potter with the style of cartoon (this can be found here ) and goes on to say that the great ancestors of the Beornen once spoke of a legend of a Wicker Man. The ancestors spoke for centuries that one day he would rise again. But to start this ritual, he needs to be fed. Then, the room descends into darkness, the curtain rises out of the way, and a 3-d projection map of a real life Wicker Man appears from behind the curtain screaming out "I will rise again - Feed the flames". Simultaneously, the runes on the floor and the runes on the rocks light up and the sound of drums and humming can be heard. The doors spring open and you are in the station.

That sounds incredible, and quite likely given that we have already seen elements of what you described in the latest online video for the ride. I’m very excited now.
