Indeed! Europa seem to be going with quite a unique theme for this water park, as opposed to the usual island/beach/pirate themes, which is great!These new concepts look wonderful; and not a palm tree nor pirate in sight!![]()
On a side note, will this be a more child-oriented waterpark, or will it have some more thrilling attractions in it too?

I think it will be a park for all ages. I agree its nice for a park not to go down the pirate theme. My favourite waterpark at the moment is Blizzard Beach.

I don' think they was ever in doubt.When you drive past the hotel, which is under construction, it looks absolutely massive.
The Rulantica Preview stuff is also great - the park certainly looks like it is going to have exceptional theming.

Does anyone know/willing to guess when Rulantica and Kronasar are opening? It was a vague "2019" last time I checked the website. When we went to EP in May we missed the opening of the Vomitarium by ONE DAY
Would really like to not make another schoolboy error (although of course this meant we just had to make a return trip
)

If I was a betting man:
Kronasar: April or May 2019
Rulantica: October, November or December 2019

Yes, this sounds realistic but frustrating. This seems to have been in development since Roland was a lad!If I was a betting man:

It has been in development for a decade or more... crazy really.
But they want to get it right, I guess. Opening it in winter makes sense as they can have a quieter opening period. I actually feel it might be a good idea to open it when the park is closed between main season and Christmas.

Good to see Theme Park Review being recognised in a Europa-Park development

Europa Park put bars in kids areas so even if the park were to be aimed at the youngest visitors....honestly I wouldn't worry.
