Yes but surely singles could go in a boat on their own (I've done that myself before)? That's what I meant.
Someone said in another thread that single riders are not allowed on the Rapids at the moment due to Covid restrictions. If this is true does anyone know why? Just curious as it's strange.
But why does this apply at Alton Towers but not Thorpe Park?
I have been on Rumba Rapids solo twice this seasonHave single riders been permitted on Rumba Rapids this year then?
Perhaps Towers have been extra cautious due to the inevitable spot light that is still on them because of the Smiler.
THORPE don't have rules prohibiting single riders across the resort, only on a few rides. Case in point one guest getting SWARM solo a couple of years ago.Have single riders been permitted on Rumba Rapids this year then?

Surely not? Are people still thinking about that 5 years onPerhaps Towers have been extra cautious due to the inevitable spot light that is still on them because of the Smiler.
Yes. Have you not read any news articles about Towers?...Surely not? Are people still thinking about that 5 years on

Don't need to I just turn up and see the place myself!Yes. Have you not read any news articles about Towers?...
What I meant was virtually every news article about Towers references the accident.Don't need to I just turn up and see the place myself!
Can't have Fast Track at all at the moment anyway as that entrance is being used for RAP.Th13teen can NOT have fastrack with the reduced capacity as the queues will be unbearable
Merlin have shown they have no issues with combined rap and fastrack...Can't have Fast Track at all at the moment anyway as that entrance is being used for RAP.
I'm going during half term though...The queues are fine anyway usually much shorter than advertised
