Yay!
Shame they're not open on Wednesdays as that's my day off during the weekShame they're not open from 12-5 instead so they can be enjoyed in proper darkness, but a welcome gesture nonetheless.
Ye but let's be honest, most enthusiasts won't be going for the gardens, they'll be going to look at the ridesIs it just me or is £12 a bit expensive considering the size of the gardens? I'm not sure how much a similar National Trust type place would be, but they "feel" bigger in general I think.
How would everyone rank the theme of the coasters at the park. This may already be a thread I'm not sure. In my opinion, I'd say:
1. Wicker man
2. Smiler
3. Th13teen
4. Galactica
5. Nemesis
6. Oblivion
7. Rita
Rita doesn't really have a theme tbh so no surprise it's last

Won't be possible as areas will be closed off for safety reasons due to Winter maintenance taking place.Ye but let's be honest, most enthusiasts won't be going for the gardens, they'll be going to look at the rides
I wouldn’t say it was essential, it’s an unnecessary risk.Lots of signs on the motorway today saying essential journeys only...would a trip to the Towers gardens be considered essential???
Sorry, I was responding to an earlier post in the same topic, I thought it was in the coronavirus one, not general discussion. This isn’t the topic really, and only replying because vaccine misinformation is dangerous, but the winter flu programme doesn’t cock up every year. The Flu vaccine has a short window of effectiveness due to the wide variety of flu virus that can spread. Covid has and will mutate but the only mutations the vaccine cares about are ones that impact the protein spike and only one mutation has shown that and as it stands not to a point that will likely impact vaccines.
It is likely this will become a yearly vaccine but let’s not get dramatic about things on a page related to theme park general discussion.
They could argue “essential exercise” but should someone travel 3 hours to visit Towers when somewhere more suitable might be 20mins from home?Well people could say they're going to Towers Gardens for exercise, which would be allowed.
Yeah that's a good point. Another interesting thing is Staffordshire will n conducting mass testing (as seen in Liverpool). Could we see that implemented at Towers? There's talk of it being done at sports stadium turnstiles. They could argue “essential exercise” but should someone travel 3 hours to visit Towers when somewhere more suitable might be 20mins from home?

i think £12 is a decent price actually, we have gardens round here that cost a lot more.
