Shame they're not open from 12-5 instead so they can be enjoyed in proper darkness, but a welcome gesture nonetheless.

Is it just me or is £12 a bit expensive considering the size of the gardens? I'm not sure how much a similar National Trust type place would be, but they "feel" bigger in general I think.

Ye but let's be honest, most enthusiasts won't be going for the gardens, they'll be going to look at the rides

How would everyone rank the theme of the coasters at the park. This may already be a thread I'm not sure. In my opinion, I'd say:
1. Wicker man
2. Smiler
3. Th13teen
4. Galactica
5. Nemesis
6. Oblivion
7. Rita
Rita doesn't really have a theme tbh so no surprise it's last

After our recent visit (scarefest opening week) we killed 10 mins of the 5 and a half hour car journey by ranking the rides out of 10.

Bearing in mind we're a family of 4, 2 adults 2 kids..

1. Thirteen
2. Oblivion
3. The Smiler
4. Galactica
5. Nemesis
6 Rita
7. Wicker Man
8. Runaway Mine Train

The Blade was right up there may I add but not a coaster thankfully or else I'd have embarrassed myself a bit there.

It it was just me I'd go..

1. The Smiler
2. Oblivion
3. Nemesis
4. Galactica
5. Thirteen
6. Wicker Man
7. Rita
8. Runaway Mine Train

We did 3 different days in the park and I think they're all great in their own ways. The order would change a lot depending on time of year, events, night rides etc.

This isn’t the topic really, and only replying because vaccine misinformation is dangerous, but the winter flu programme doesn’t cock up every year. The Flu vaccine has a short window of effectiveness due to the wide variety of flu virus that can spread. Covid has and will mutate but the only mutations the vaccine cares about are ones that impact the protein spike and only one mutation has shown that and as it stands not to a point that will likely impact vaccines.

It is likely this will become a yearly vaccine but let’s not get dramatic about things on a page related to theme park general discussion.
Sorry, I was responding to an earlier post in the same topic, I thought it was in the coronavirus one, not general discussion.
Added more to this in the covid topic.

Well people could say they're going to Towers Gardens for exercise, which would be allowed.

They could argue “essential exercise” but should someone travel 3 hours to visit Towers when somewhere more suitable might be 20mins from home?
Yeah that's a good point. Another interesting thing is Staffordshire will n conducting mass testing (as seen in Liverpool). Could we see that implemented at Towers? There's talk of it being done at sports stadium turnstiles.

Leaving the home for exercise...should be done locally wherever possible...but you may travel if necessary...latest government website.
Only short distance travel is permitted for exercise, so Towers should not encourage visitors from outside the local area.

They charged the same when the gardens were open in June, presumably they got the custom in the summer so decided to keep pricing the same. I've been to places with similar pricing, however I would expect the gardens to be maintained to a high standard for £12.
