...which, I am absolutely certain, is maintained to a far higher standard than the Towers gardens, that have been smothered with bramble and Hypericum all the way down the valley.
If they open it as a heritage garden, the garden itself, not the buildings, should be well looked after.
They are not.

In some ways I think the management at Towers have finally woken to realise the gardens are something people will visit for, but as you say @rob666 there’s a lot of time, effort & wage bills needed to rectify the neglect.

With the hint of the ruins being turned into more of a thing I guess ruins & garden days will become normal when the theme park is shut. I also imagine someone is working out a package to try and entice garden visitors to stay for a night with spa etc included.

I thought some people might be interested in a bit of good news. They have found a lost Staffordshire Bull Terrier (ironically) in the park!



No idea if she was found near Wicker Man specifically, but it's great to see she's safe <3

Worlds first rollercoaster dedicated to your canine pal!


I went just before scarefest and was amazed to hear some brutal words by a staff member on the Smiler PA.

People weren't social distancing (everyone gets told and spaces out, then seconds later are back behind you breathing down your neck) and this staff member was pretty much pointing people out and telling them to space out or be asked to leave the coaster queue.

Whilst I think this was the right thing to do because people are stupid and they are trying to control covid but was still surprised at the bluntness

Yes I heard her a few times:

[immediately after reading out the standard masks message] "Dear train waiting outside the station. Please ensure your masks are on correctly before we let you into the station. That includes you, the man on the front row in the blue top. Put your mask on!"

Sometimes you just get sick of telling grown adults to keep a mask over their face, so I sympathise with her.
