Wicker man imo is definitely smoother than the Smiler. I think smiler overall is pretty smooth but there are some bits that can be brutalIt's funny how a ride feels can vary so much to different people for example I was on park same day as theme park worldwides last vlog and he thought smiler was running really well whereas for me I had my worst ride ever on it, really bashed me around and bruised my shoulder, was actually my first bad ride on it.
Whereas wickerman was running pretty smoothly for me, I always find it a little jolty but it was still really smooth for a woodie.
Which is all completely opposite to what tpww said in his vlog.

Ride count yesterday was:
Rita

Thirteen x2

RMT
Marauder's Mayhem
Wicker Man x3
Spinball Whizzer x2
The Smiler x2
Oblivion x2
Mixtape x2
Enterprise
Flavio's Fabulous Fandango
Gangsta Granny

Not sure what's up with the Rapids, they're either drained or in very shallow water, with all the boats stacked at various points around the ride.

Do you have RAP? 28 rides is a lot in that space of timeRide count yesterday was:

No, no RAP, just inaccurate queue times, everything was either accurate or exaggerated.Do you have RAP? 28 rides is a lot in that space of time

Agreed. People can change their mind every few years or so as tastes can evolve as people grow older but ride to ride? This whole rides "moving positions" in your favourites list based on one ride on one day in one train in one seat sounds insane to me.
There isn't a truly "rough" coaster at Towers and although I accept that rides can vary from time to time, opinion on how something is riding on a certain day is usually exaggerated.
What do you base a ride list on then? Watching it from the side while eating a hot dogThis whole rides "moving positions" in your favourites list based on one ride on one day in one train in one seat sounds insane to me.

Your average experiences riding that ride hundreds of times over the past decade(s)?
Probably

To clarify “the ride moving down based on one ride”. I rode Wicker Man three times yesterday and each was uncomfortable, which is why it’s dropped down. You might say, “why did you go on it again then?” Because I still like it, but not as much anymore.
I’m going to currently rank rides on the most recent experiences as that’s what freshest in my head.

I've adopted the exact same rule; every ranking in my list is based on my most recent experience with that particular ride (basically, how it was riding on my most recent visit). Yes, it means my list is rather fluid and changes a lot, as many of you may have noticed, but I find that it's an easier way for me to decide upon placements for things, especially in the case of rides that vary a lot.I’m going to currently rank rides on the most recent experiences as that’s what freshest in my head.

To be honest, the only coasters that didn’t have done form of roughness, jolt or rattle yesterday were Rita, Thirteen and Oblivion. In May and June, all big 7 coasters were riding on form IMO.

Same here; back in May I had my best ride in Wicker Man and it immediately shot one place up my rankings.I've adopted the exact same rule; every ranking in my list is based on my most recent experience with that particular ride (basically, how it was riding on my most recent visit). I mean I really don't see the problem with pushing a ride down a few positions if it's not riding as good as it was when I rated it higher? 1 rough ride wouldn't have made a difference, but 3 rough rides doesn't leave things in the same position. I don't see why it's so odd to change ride positions based on how you're enjoying them?

I agree, would've thought that's how most enthusiasts' rankings work.I mean I really don't see the problem with pushing a ride down a few positions if it's not riding as good as it was when I rated it higher? 1 rough ride wouldn't have made a difference, but 3 rough rides doesn't leave things in the same position. I think for a lot of enthusiasts nostalgia comes into it. Even if a ride isnt running well, if it means something to you then it's hard to push it down. The smiler is the ride that got me into theme parks and have this new hobby, and I'll never forget thatI mean I really don't see the problem with pushing a ride down a few positions if it's not riding as good as it was when I rated it higher? 1 rough ride wouldn't have made a difference, but 3 rough rides doesn't leave things in the same position. Each to their own and I get that the experience on some coasters can vary a bit dependent on seat, type of wheels, time of day, weather conditions and age etc. Nemesis, for instance, isn't as enjoyable to me as it used to be because it no longer has red rivers, the pit is full of weeds, it doesn't ride quite the same and I've grown up and changed a little bit myself. It's also different front, back and middle. But my opinion of it over the course of 27 years is more consistent than some peoples views on coasters from last Wednesday to this Friday!
I absolutely love the original Die Hard, but my opinion of it doesn't change that much just because I watched it on VHS on a black and white TV compared to watching it in 4k. It's still the same movie.
Not having a go by the way. More intrigued at the thought processes.
