I wonder if the clock striking 6 has any significance? And also the chime melody before, while often found on clocks also sounds like modern doorbell. Probably nothing, but knowing how Towers likes to tease and leave subtle clues everywhere in teasers, could these mean something?

The only thing I can find resembling this is the clock bell chime in The Haunted Houses original promo video.

With all this new content coming in so quick and so soon by the park, perhaps its not reopening next season. Call me mad, but what if its being reopened temporarily for Lightopia?

Imagine if the original HH music came back but with a modern twist. The only ones I'd like to see untouched are the Vestibule music, the Sinister Garden, and the Chase.

I'm thinking it'll probably have a brand new soundtrack myself.

I don't know about anyone else, but I reckon that the sinister ITHOTMK backing track to the voicemail message could well be a snippet of it...

What I would like to see is the giant spider actually working as intended for as even during the early days of the HH it never really worked, you'd think now there is the technology there to make it finally work as what it was supposed to do.

That all said, you read many comments about the HH and many will say that because of the giant spider many developed arachnophobia from when they were kids even in it's limited state...who knows how much scarier it would have been had worked as planned?

It'd be a dream to see it fully working as intended, heck, even the Ghost Corridor effect. There is actually footage of the spider moving fully, it's the HHs promo video with the girl in it, when the spider comes on screen you can see its entire body moving, I'll post the video again here if you want to check it out.

Look, I know that IMAscore is great and all, but it's beginning to feel boring, having music in the park mostly by the same company over the last 10 years. It'd be nice to see more individuals like Simon Allen, and Ian Habgood to have a go at the park.

A chap at my workplace knows a few Staff in Alton Towers. He said that they told him that John Wardley wanted all the original Soundtracks back, but have a modern twist in some sections in the music.

IF this is true, I hope it won't be done by IMAscore. It wouldn't make sense either when the Pakr could easily hire a single composer for a much cheaper price if only some segments of already existing music will be altered.

The original booming soundtrack is excellent, yes, maybe a little bit of an updating with a more fuller sound with a full orchestra but nothing more. IMO, the original entrance music is one of the grandest starting themes for any ride at a theme park for it builds up the tension so well.

Edit: Actually, after watching that promo video from 1992, am I the only one who thinks that when they mark the reopening of the ride that they would remake that promo clip of a girl running into the HH as a way of not just promoting the return of the HH while playing with nostalgia but also giving us a sneak peak of its new effects?

That's a little bit of an exaggeration!

IMAScore currently have only Wicker Man, The Smiler, Spinball, Galactica and Towers Street/Towers Ruins soundtracks (6)

vs

Nemesis, Gloomy Wood, K Canyon, Obivion, Thirteeen/Dark Forest, Gangsta Granny, WODW, Mutiny Bay, Mauraders Mayhem, Sealife, Dungeons, RetroSquad [theme], Hex, all of CBeebies? (at least 14) are all a mix of Simon Allen and other composers.

IMAscore have proven multiple times, particularly with Thorpe, that they can take soundtracks and elevate them.

They know what they're doing and have produced some bangers over the years. There is absolutely no issue with them doing it.

Please keep Simon Allen away from it. No offence to him, some of his work is good and is perfectly fine for temporary attractions or events. For something more permanent like Duel/The Haunted House I would rather see professional composers create something.

IMAScore will perfectly suit the job. I don’t really get the hate for them? All the scores they have created for Towers are great and memorable. I feel they would be good at creating something new, with some nostalgia thrown in. I trust them to create something high quality.
