If I remember Toyland Tours closed midseason (end of June) in order to completely vandalise it in time for the following year, By early September work was very obviously underway with the façade being demolished and bits of internal theming being removed.

Whilst technically there is time to completely gut the ride they'd need to get a move on about now, and there still doesn't seem to be too much going on judging from the rear of the building.
My suspicions is that they're keeping most of the scenes that date before 2003 but from what we've seen, the only scene that we've seen being scrapped is the finale thanks to evidence of the wall texture and the huge numbers of Target lights just tossed on top. I bet they're just doing up the scenes they're keeping with new things like new lighting, repainted props, scenery being altered, etc. I suppose that'll take more time as ripping out scenes will be less time consuming as you won't need to be careful when ripping out the old scenes. Maybe they're doing TLC first, then ripping out the scenes they don't want outside of the finale, though that may have been because the entrance to the showbuilding is located at the back where the finale is now and they wanted to have access.

You got the picture of that again? To save me scrolling through pages and pages of crap.

I mean in fairness, those black walls are placed throughout the attraction.

I cannot see a huge number of target lights tossed ontop either??? I see one wire connected to what looks like a plug ontop.

As for the textured walls that are also there. They do look like the end scene, but that's it.

I couldn't find the other tweet having the picture of the lights and wiring sorry :/

A fair bit more has likely been removed since that tweet was posted, surely?

That tweet is now not far off a month old. With that in mind, I’d assume that more removal has likely happened since.

Just because an enthusiast hasn’t photographed it, it doesn’t mean that more hasn’t been removed.

Isn’t that the colour you get when you mix paint with WD40?
You would think only the newer scenes would have to be moved as the wiring was installed into the frames before they were themed but the old scenes were maybe installed backstage so they could just remove the cabling and repair and paint over where the LED went.

Warning: contains adult language
https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Thoosie

I quite like the 2nd definition to be fair:
A person who spends years trying to single-handedly invent a slang word that will catch on in the roller coaster enthusiast community.
Despite years of failure, the thoosie didn't give up on his dream of making the word thoosie mean something to anyone other than himself.

Unlike the Queue time thread, I keep this one and the NST one unmuted in the hope that something interesting and news worthy actually gets discussed with us all knowing there's activity on both sites at the moment. But it's becoming harder and harder I must say. At least the whole thoosie debate has spiced things up a bit.

I'm eager to know what's going on with both attractions and I don't want to miss any updates or discussion, but I suppose we can't have a thread titled 'Desperate Haunted House Revival Wishes, Pink Signs and Spotted WD40 cans - General Discussion'.

What’s a thoosie?
Again, get with the times mate!
I read it on one of the sites (Coasterforce?), and was proud to work out the meaning all by myself!
Commented on it as word of the week to one of my punters, and then tested three fellow th**sies of the term on the next meeting of the jolly boys, majority failure.
That was back in May, with a number of uses on here over the last five months...not all by me!
Are we still permitted use in the Tavern, as an acceptable term of abuse ?

What also concerns me is the repeated definition of "lacking girlfriend"...do they not realise that a considerable proportion of th**sies are gay?
Sexism in all parts of life.

As a seventies and eighties thoosie, I never heard the term until six months ago.
Social media new word fashion...
