Don't welcome the photos, but the park/Merlin decided to release them so I can't blame others too much for posting, even if it has made them impossible to avoid. The damage was done before Craig's intervention sadly.

From a photography perspective, the photographs are bad whichever way you look at it. They either don't represent the lighting levels of the actual ride ride (most likely in my view/hope) or, if they are representative of the ride's lightning, you can see too much of the building roof/limits of the props etc and we're looking at another Duel for over doing lighting.

From the video by @harryt, it seems that the flying demon is somewhat replaced by another apparition, and a lot more common looking of a ghost. This is probably just a stock ghost picture for the people working to understand the concept.

I'm really hoping they haven't gone down this route. All I've seen so far are projections and no old school effects or moving props yet.

hello all my friend has discovered something very interesting and exciting about what the ride may come out to be and a pleasant surprise to everyone about the projection mapping look very careful at this video by conductr very similar scenes from curse and an concept art appearance from the grand hall!

Interesting that the 2 founders of the company are ex-Holovis (the Wickerman preshow creators) and one is ex-Merlin. Probably means absolutely nothing but seeing as they are a new company which was created only 12 months ago, if they are working with Towers on this - however big their involvement - it could be their big break!
