[2024] Thorpe Park: Hyperia - Mack Hypercoaster

They've a fair way to go by the looks of it. This picture also shows how much space they've wasted here434038120_925614996240045_8800578747667210097_n.jpg
This photo shows just how much work there is left to turn what is a mud bath of a construction site in to a presentable part of a theme park. Paths, landscaping and planting, signage and any theming, most of the queue line. I suspect they'll be working on it right up until 10am on opening day.

My other theory is that the theme of Hyperia is in fact mud. And the reason that the lower parts of the track and supports are brown is because they are sitting in all of the mud around the site.

Must admit I'm no expert when it comes to muddy lakes.

Is it a case of draining it and refilling with clear water?

Can they filter the mud out?

Or is it always going to look like Shreks swamp?

I was comparing Icons train and only just noticed BPB was written on that lower bit. 😂

Also looked up the last active Hyper made by Mack (Hyper Coaster ín Turkey) and this was the train from 2018). 6 years ago.
