It's nothing to do with Merlin though, they did not mention "roller coaster" in the press release. It's purely just outlets wanting clicks.Thing is people will come flocking thinking that’s an image of a new concept of a roller coaster, but that’s all good for Merlin as long as your through the gate “over promise and under deliver”
Again, that's nothing to do with Towers. The press release did not mention "roller coaster", it's purely LADbible wanting clicks.Incorrect wording and no proof reading? Completely on brand for Towers I'd say!
I'd love this too but I can't see it happening. Toxicator has two main angles of view, whereas Ripsaw had one.
It's that kind of level of theming that we get so rarely these days. The Tussauds era it was basically the default option. I noticed this majorly when I visited Gardaland last year that has soo much Tussauds era stuff remaining. Massive set features, big infrastructure. Super high quality theming pieces that last the test of time.I never realised Ripsaw used to have those themed diagonal supports in its early days. Shows how much of the theming was gradually removed!
Oh I apologise, I always thought it was.Not denying you can’t spot ‘pre and post’ Merlin investments a mile off - but Gardaland was never a Tussauds park.
It’s across everything though. Food, ride availability, ents. Merlin have done what the glazers have done. Reduced the quality and asset stripped every penny out of the place until they reach the point of no return. I think we are there.Oh I apologise, I always thought it was.
The point sort of still stands though. The pre / post Merlin scale is very obvious.
There're definitely plenty of ways to add copious theming without affecting reliability though. Such as Talocan of course. Most of the theming was removed from ripsaw over the years as it caused issues with maintenance. I don’t have a major issue with them avoiding the same issue with Toxicator but I feel it could have more graphic art on it.
