And that's what makes it special. It's charmingly janky, a bit crap but great fun.Janky and intense with a great soundtrack.
SourceNext year, Europa-Park will be 50 years old. A new ride in the Luxembourg themed area is set to open at the start of the season. In the summer, the animated film "Grand Prix of Europe" with the mascots Ed and Edda will be released in cinemas, Mack announced.
He does not want politics, wars and conflicts to dictate the agenda for the park: "There are no plans to redesign the Russia themed area," he said succinctly. And a new build of the Euro-Mir roller coaster that has been there for some time, which has been speculated about for some time? The plan is on the cards, he replied - but not for the anniversary year.
Yeah as much as I'm not sure I'll enjoy it due to the roughness, I'm glad I'll get a chance to ride it at least once next year.Going to have to get out now before it gets butchered.
Yeah as much as I'm not sure I'll enjoy it due to the roughness, I'm glad I'll get a chance to tide it at least once next year.
Having been on Euro-Mir recently, I have found it rather rough however nowhere near as rough as Saw at Thorpe Park. I'd say it is a weak spot in the coaster line up right now.
I'd say for a Euro Mir project, I'd love to see it replaced with intertwining spinning coasters with one side being an Xtreme Spinning Coaster and the other side being a regular Spinning Coaster with two separate coasters for family and thrill.
I'm thinking that the Russian themed area may be difficult to keep long term in today's current situation with Ukraine although any potential changes will need to be completely impartial. I believe it's been bought up already earlier in this thread.
Whilst the original Euro-Mir is a classic, I don't think guests and fans will appreciate it being completely rethemed. I believe the building is sentimental however it doesn't look as nice as the other parts of the park.
I think a modern Spinning Coaster potentially utilising both family and extreme coaster layouts will go down a treat instead.
Makes sense, it's best that Europa Park remains impartial when it comes to politics. It works best when the park pays tribute to European cultures.Roland’s made it clear that the park doesn’t want to engage in politics when it comes to the Russia area. Whatever you think about the inconsistencies in the Macks’ approach to when and where they get political, it’s at least clear Russia is going to be with us as an area for the foreseeable future.
I actually admit EuroSat is similar as well and I do admittedly prefer Mir to Sat I did find EuroMir rather rough.Weak spot? I think you're looking for the Can-Can thread
That’s totally normal - front car of the train never spins. It made some pretty disconcerting metallic sounds when I last rode it and one of the cars in the train that I was in was not spinning during the lift whilst the other cars were spinning which was a bit odd. I saw a Youtube vlog a few months ago where the same thing happened to the car that the vlogger was in.
