Maybe they were worried the PR efforts so far hadn't been confusing enough for everyone?Very strange to use the US date format. Maybe they think it's already closed!?

This really bugged me at first but I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and assume 'Phalanx' is an American company?
It has! This isn’t a big one, but I noticed that they said that the Phalanx has been “containing the beast for 27 years”… hasn’t Nemesis been open for 28?

They have now updated the image with the correct UK format

It's been like that since at least July 2021 (!)
(See page 3)
So this proves that not only do they make lots of typos without checking but they don't correct then when they are noticed.

Posted that one sometime last year I think. Clearly hasn't been fixed.![]()
Oh, Merlin…
Also shouldn't it be the Soldiers (pl) for consistency with minims and foragers?
EDIT: Also questioning why "The Smallest Ants" needs to be in title case now. Bizarre.

Semantics and pedantics calling.
Apostrophes are often now seen as optional.
A number of style guides suggest avoiding them completely if you are not confident in using them, so the lack of a single apostrophe in a poster is completely acceptable in many literary circles, sorry.
Also, as my good lady points out, if the poster is referring to more than one town, then it is technically correct.

Na, not having that. Should defo be 'Town's' in the example used. Please excuse my somewhat purposely used lazy lingo in general in this response. I'm all for language evolving over long periods of time but you can't just get rid of the sensible usage of punctuation in a relatively short period of time (in my opinion).Semantics and pedantics calling.

Tis month end family meet up Saturday, I can barely stand, let alone do grammer and spellin, sorry.
I didn't read the poster proper...blame the wife.
There are loads of examples of them being dropped, in textspeak...whatever that is, companies dropping them in names, and lots of place names have had them dropped from signage for years now.

You are correct, but I'm assuming the fish only belongs to one town (Shipwreck Coast). If the prize fish belongs to more than one town then it should be towns' or towns's (depending on preference)

"Set sail in Munity Bay"
The capitalisation is ridiculous throughout
The i is way too similar to the t (perhaps a little picky)
