And so the countdown begins.....

I'd rather anthrax than radiation sickness. And let's not forget that with nukes, most people wouldn't be instantly vapourised. They would burn to a horrible death in the firestorm that follows. :/

I think we should be less concerned with WHAT will bring about the end of days, and more focussed on how we plan to survive the undead hordes that will roam the land.

No one "survives" Zombie hordes. They just delay their death as far as the end of the film. For all we know, ten minutes later they are being ripped to shreds shouting "choke on them!"

i have my collection of chainsaws and previous zombie experiences so ill be fine, the rest of you however are
bonned

I've never seen the point in "prepping" for any end-of-world scenario. I'd much rather go out in a blaze of glory in the first wave.

Which brings about a whole new topic!!

"If it was announced you had 10 minutes before you are nuked, what would you immediately do?"

Ahh I wouldn't worry, after all, if the worse did happen, I have a Martian Fighting Machine in the backyard to keep me safe. ;)

It would depend on the warning I get. If I woke up and found outside to be crawling with undead, I'd be pretty limited to what I have lying around. If I had a couple hours I'd have various plans I could execute depending on the details of the situation.

After playing dayZ for a month and not lasting any longer than 6-12 hours, I have no current plans to even attempt the zombie apocalypse!!

(If you dunno what dayZ is, google it, then you tube it!)

Well, not quite, there's still time. Not until it's the 22nd in Mexico will it have been a failure.

Plus, if, as I hope, it's a zombie apocalypse, it will be a while before enough people are infected for us to notice.
