Blackpool Pleasure Beach: 2021 Discussion

The Friday would be my personal choice, as it is loomination season, Saturday will probably be heaving with staycationers.
I prefer not to start with the Big One, you can do half a dozen rides in the time it takes for the Big One to open.
I usually hop from short queue to short queue, don't forget to sit at the bar and people watch for a rest and a beer.
Walking the prom all the way up the lights on an evening can be a most memorable experience, for all sorts of reasons.

That was my plan re Friday morning to have a hearty breakfast before park opening and then graze on snacks throughout the day until kicking out time.

Good shout from both of you re Big One - I don't want to hit it too early or late for the risk of a late opening and an early closing.

Hi going get hated for this but we are visiting on Tuesday and using speedy pass , does anyone know if some rides are still not included due to covid or since social distancing has been lifted have they been added back? Thanks

Funnily enough although I know very little about pleasure beach I happened to be planning a trip and was looking at speedy pass.

Thats what I’m hoping but I know last month the Big Dipper and quite a few more where excluded due to covid so worried the website is just the standard pre covid lists

Last minute decision to visit pleasure beach today (Monday 23rd August), with my son and one of his mates.

Park very busy but still managed 12 rides including 8 out of the 10 coasters. Just missed out on blue flyer and big one.

W&G closed all day.

There was an unfortunate outbreak of CBA in the big one station, causing it to open after mid day and then remain on one train all day, in what can only be described as a very gentle breeze. Probably at least a two hour queue so avoided it.

Infusion gets worse every visit. Nash was surprisingly OK today.

@rob666 - Pat keeps asking about you. Told her you would be back in September.

The one train malarkey on Big One was also the same on Friday and Sunday. On both days the queues were around 2 hours with no apparent reason for running only one. Most of the other rides were also on one train, except for on Saturday.

Not that I'm personally intereested in getting a pass to visit a park that feels increasingly stagnant.

I think they are implying that £99 is the "new customer price" and if you as an existing season pass holder renew before the end of September, you will be able to take advantage of that price.

Still no diamond pass so presumably no walk round entry in 2022

So why keep the ridiculous ride scanning system. Utter madness!
