Question about the e - tickets : I'm going in June, My friend isn't taking his phone, so i have both out tickets on my phone.
When go on a ride, do i have to scan my e - ticket and then pass the phone back to him so he can scan his?
From the video the park released you set up both tickets on your phone and scan it. The turnstile will then unlock for two people to go through.
Glad they realised that would be an issue with this system.

I do find it odd they are making you scan on each ride, with the removal of none ride entry. Would have thought it would make more sense to just remove the turnstiles/leave them open.

Have they got rid of the Pleasure Beach Pass now then?I do find it odd they are making you scan on each ride, with the removal of none ride entry. Would have thought it would make more sense to just remove the turnstiles/leave them open.

I imagine it’s just getting the new system bedded in from the beginning. When I asked about entry passes for 2021, I was told they would return as soon as the capacity restrictions start to be relaxed

Pleasure Beach have really ramped up their prices. 1st May, which admittedly is a 10pm close, is £40.00 in advance. Indeed, many other dates are £38.00. This is the same or more expensive than any UK Merlin park online. It's more than the London parks.
30th October is £44.00 online. What the hell? Or a great value evening wristband from 6pm... £34.00!?

Those are advance prices? I dread to think what the gate prices will be. Valhalla shut all season too.

The gate prices are £2 up on those. Have a look - I thought I was having vision problems! The 10pm closes are really high - but to be honest even the regular weekend dates are high. Prices online have literally gone up 50% or more in just a couple of years.

By 2019 BPB was starting to look suspiciously cheap compared with other major UK parks. OK the gate price had been gradually creeping up but you could still get a wristband for £25 or so online, which is far less than most of the serious competition were charging at the time.
I don't know what proportion of people were rocking up and paying £39 (or whatever it was) but I can't imagine it was that many in the grand scheme of things, so for the price to have practically doubled in just 2 years seems bonkers. I guess now everyone has to book in advance it means the impulse buyers aren't subsidising my visit any more, but I still wouldn't have expected such a drastic price increase - even though a smaller one was long overdue.

I know it 'sounds' a lot, but 12 hours of rides for £40 still feels like pretty good value to me.
They have stayed the same for long periods too, wristbands were £25 in 2002, that's £42 in 2020/21 with inflation.Prices online have literally gone up 50% or more in just a couple of years.
Hey, don't forget pay per ride...Back to Pleasure Beach’s pricing model I see...
Does that mean we’re due to talk about opening times or Wild Mouse again next?
By every report, the season is going to be busy because of a lack of international alternatives, hit 'em in the pocket while you can, simple.

Not heard about the B&B price increases in Devon and Cornwall then, 30% in a year increases.
