Once every two or three years is the correct answer.I am curious. How many times would you actually want to see the show? Once, maybe twice? Three at a push perhaps.
Love the show, once in a while.
Especially on a very hot or very rainy day.
Have a side bet on the number of fallers, usually in the range 0 to 3.
But not worth repeat viewing.

Everyone always talks about how many people see hot ice but how many people go to the other shows they put on? like the magic show in the horseshoe and whatnot?
I didn't even know they still did a magic show. I still maintain the arena ia a wasted opportunity but probably needs money to make it into a decent area. Seemed to be quite a lot of people heading into the evening magic show on Saturday. I nearly ended up walking in by accident on my way out of the park due to choosing the wrong side of a barrier to walk through when trying to avoid exiting via the shop.

It was originally a 7pm close, then it changed to 6pm earlier in the week. On park there was a mixture of 6pm and 7pm ride close times posted (including 6pm on Icon, which actually closed at 7pm), so nobody seemed to be sure of the closing time. At the start of the day the app told me Enso was available until 7pm but the park opening list was showing 6pm. Nice that they kept to their original 7pm but I think the confusion meant people had planned journeys home/other stuff based around the 6pm so the area around Revolution/Steeplechase was almost deserted by 5:45pm.Although advertised as a 6pm close, it appears ride close today is 7. Unsure if in error, but I'm not complaining if they have extended!
Yup, spotted one ride close time stated as "Today".
I am hanging my head in shame today sadly.
Wanted to get my confession in early.
A little poorly on Icon.
Painkillers/spinny kiddy ride/beer combination.
Must say the ride staff were absolutely excellent.
Once every twenty one years, last one was Traumatizer.

I will go off quietly and say ten Hail Mandys.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but does anyone know what the max windspeed for Big One is? Looking like it could be fairly windy on Sunday

Activated my ticket earlier... What a flipping faff eh! Took me forever to work out how to get the rest of my group to activate theirs. It's not very clear on the website. I understand that they want to make sure tickets can't be shared, but it's a pain. What I don't understand though is why we have to scan them at every ride.

35mph (ish). Direction is important, and a combo of wet track & wind will mean less wind required for a closure.Sorry if this has been asked before, but does anyone know what the max windspeed for Big One is? Looking like it could be fairly windy on Sunday![]()

If using your phone, I would advise setting the ticket as your lock screen. 100% brightness required, adaptive brightness off, and I turn notifications off so they can't get in the way.
(and still it's 50/50 whether the turnstiles play nice)

You can get a paper ticket instead at some of the ride shops (Icon and W&G and one other, can't remember which). Definitely recommended for Valhalla - means you can leave your phone safe and dry in a locker or with a non-rider.35mph (ish). Probably best you don't then abuse said non-rider so your bag doesn't end up in the water anyway eh?

Also how busy the park is.
On busy days they will have slightly more reason to "get the damn thing open" . Not as much reason as they did in pay per ride days though.
The Sunday just gone was always going to be too windy unfortunately. I don't even think big JR would have risked it. But then again !
