Apparently there have been talks of a Wilde Maus XXL possibly taking it's place. Personally, i'd be very pleased, as i've never ridden before.

Round and round in circles.
The ride was pretty much uninsureable.
As important as Stonehenge and the Houses of Parliament???
Get over yourself.
Only to the 0.001% of the population that are Coaster freaks.
Spoke to about a dozen people yesterday on the coast...including the spoons staff, they all either hated it or didn't ride it any more because it was too rough.
Over the last couple of seasons, visiting on average once a week last year, I saw more distressed people coming off the mouse than all the other rides put together.
We don't care about them, but the park has to, it has an absolute duty of care.
Sad its gone, wish it hadn't, time to move on.

They probably thought get rid of it now before some nutter manages to get another ride listed lol

I wouldn’t mind a Giant Discovery ride. Always thought BPB should have a ride like that. Something generic and modern, but fun too.

I was just looking at the Giant Discovery, however they are absolutely massive! I cannot imagine one would fit in at BPB without further substantial changes.

They do look incredible though!

:)

As much as I loved the Wild Mouse, comparing it to Stonehenge or the Houses of Parliament is a serious leap! They are both internationally recognised monuments and Stonehenge is one of the most significant buildings in human history! Not even the Tower in Blackpool comes close.
Wild Mouse was a shabby, dated and dangerous looking wooden coaster built in the 1950's.
Again, most people including myself would question how a ride which looked so dangerous was still allowed to operate. It's surprising it lasted this long.
As for its replacement, it will undoubtedly be a mundane paid attraction in the short-term.

Base is 122ft long, Mouse's area is 140ft long...
Trauma Towers has gone, allowing for a wider path if they were to ever add an attraction that was slightly wider than Mouse's area...

What do I know though.
