Well... they're still Brean Leisure Park but it seems the slogan for the 'Fun City' part involves theme park. It's fair enough, one or two of their rides are themed and anywhere in the country which involves rides calls itself a theme park now whether it is themed or not. People associate 'theme park' with rides more than they would 'leisure park', 'adventure park' or 'amusement park'

At the moment it is an obscure title, however there are rumours they are trying to turn the park around from being tacky to classy (a bit like what's been done elsewhere). By taking Blackpool's Space Invader 2 and theming it to a fairly good standard they've not started off too bad, though they've a long, long way to go.
The park is also set to receive an IP in the form of a 'Sooty Land' in the not too distant future too, as confirmed by the park in an interview last year. A good manoeuvre really, as it wouldn't cost them a penny to buy the rights to implement it.

Isnt there some exclusive deal with the park as ive heard sooty mentioned quite a few times before already?
