Busch Gardens Tampa: General Discussion

Well as expected, fantastic news for Orlando. Some truly phenomenal coasters on the horizon.

One thing that’s confusing me though... ‘North America’s Tallest’? But world everything else. The current tallest hybrid in the world is Steel Vengeance, which is in North America. So if this is North America’s tallest, surely its the worlds too? Or is there something else on the horizon elsewhere?

Zadra will be smaller than Steel Vengeance by 5ft according to RCDB.

Seems like RCDB is wrong, Alan Schilke said in an interview a while back it would be taller. That seems to have been confirmed by Busch Gardens' wording.

It’s great to see BGT experiencing something of a renaissance. There was a time a few years ago when things weren’t looking quite as rosy and you feared it might slip into becoming a second tier park. It seems it’s now back to getting the attention and investment it deserves.

It's not lost them yet, and until we have a better idea of the layout it is hard to say whether or not it will lose the most important 'record' of all; best coaster in the world! ;)

That inversion through the lift structure does look insane!

Give over, there's a coaster opening down the road at Kennywood that will deal with that. ;)

They will be added before opening according to the project manager.
 
Urgh. I'd love to know why SeaWorld parks seem adamant that they must be installed.

I'm yet to ride a Sky Rocket with the comfort collars but later this year will be riding both Superman at Discovery Kingdom and Electric Eel at SeaWorld San Diego so it will be interesting to make a direct comparison.
