RMC back on site for Iron Gwazi. I wonder will they open it to attract as many as they can to the park to get some much needed revenue?
Announced at company level, not at park level. They are testing it heavily compared to the other SEAS coasters that are yet to open, I remain skeptical that it will open in 2021.Iron Gwazi is now delayed until 2021, however they are testing it with two trains!
Can i also ask, was the Phoenix flat ride open, it was it still SBNO?I visited Busch Gardens Tampa for a few hours today and I must say I was fairly impressed.
Attractions that remain closed include Stanley Falls Flume, Skyride, Bumper Cars and Kangaloom. Other than that the park is fully operational with the exception of the yet to be opened Iron Gwazi. Scorpion was looking fantastic after it’s repaint earlier in the year.
I visited the park from 10am-1pm and managed 17 rides in that time, could have done more if I had wanted. It was very quiet, concerningly so even.
Construction on the S&S Screamin Swing project that was originally due to open in December this year has grounded to a halt, however construction walls remain in place. It’s likely that this project will face delay rather than cancellation, there is still more than enough time to finish it for Summer 2021.
Despite HHN being cancelled, Howl-O-Scream will return for 2020 from September 25. The event will not feature any mazes this year but instead open air scare zones plus an outdoor Fiends show and the regular late night rides. Unfortunately though the event closes at 11pm or 12am depending on the date of visit this year whereas in previous years close has always been 1am.
I always thought Sand Serpent could get the axe and the land of that ride and Phoenix put together could house something fairly substantial. What could they replace it with if it did eventually leave the park after being SBNO for quite a few seasons?
Along with Pantheon, Ice Breaker and Emperor?Iron Gwazi has just been officially delayed until Spring 2021.
Unfortunately yes. Texas Stingray will be the sole 2020 opener out of the 2020 SEAS coasters.Along with Pantheon, Ice Breaker and Emperor?
