Disneyland Paris: General Discussion

After riding the Avengers thingy for the first time last week, I would say that on balance I preferred Rock n' Rollercoaster. But ... I should qualify that by saying that I have zero interest in MCU and I am a fan of Aerosmith.

We did use single rider, which meant we didn't see the pre-show, so I can't comment on that aspect of it and if it really improves the overall experience, or not.

If anything, it feels like the new overlay has made the ride too much like Space Mountain next door - especially whilst latter maintains the Star Wars theme. They're now both launched loopers, whizzing around in space with semi-interesting 'stuff' happening around you. RnRC was very distinct to that - even if the ride hardware was similar.

Overall, I suspect a lot of folks prefer the ride in its current form - Covid aside, the fact it took as long as it did for them to transform it pretty loosely, is very Disney.
Trust me, a lot of Disney fans aren't 'fans' of Flight Force overlay on RnRC. Most prefer the latter to Flight Force.

Did they still let you take your suitcase on it?

It's hard to imagine any one thing that could save the Studios park, short of the aforementioned "destroy it all and start over." Is there any plan, announced or even vaguely rumored, under which Studios becomes more than a 2-hour park before, let's say, 2040?

It would need the amount of attention and money that DCA 1.0 got, except in DCA's case there was already the foundation of a decent park underneath all the cheesy design and terrible puns

The one time I visited I was able to do Crush's Coaster, Ratatouille, and Tower of Terror within about 90 minutes at the start of the day. I was using the single rider line, however. Though it wasn't open then, it's possible that the addition of Cars Road Trip would make this a 2-hour or even half day park, depending on how much time I'd need to stop laughing and/or crying after the attraction had finished

Not sure if you can make this joke anymore considering how long Tron at Florida took.
Disney construction across all the parks takes too long.
Not helped by the fact they announce rides way too early and then sometimes cancel again before construction even starts.

Whereas Universal often start building something and only announce what it is once construction is almost finished and its 3-6 months until it opens.

I know I'm probably in a very small minority but I do like actually like Studio 1 as it is. I get people don't like the cardboard cutout style of it but I do actually think it looks effective to walk down with the neon lights etc.

I do also find it weird that they're boxing off the other end. I know the reveal is no Main St. USA but it it was a nice reveal of the Tower of Terror / statue as you came out, it seems a shame to put a wall over it.

As for the rest of I think it's all a positive step forward, even though I think it still looks a little too bland.
