Drayton Manor Park

A quick try of the website and a look at their FB page and it seems they're really struggling with capacity on their website.

A shame as I wouldn't have minded going :(

Should be popular then :tearsofjoy:
i think i first heard about it (and saw it under construction) in a vlog on Youtube, and only discovered it on the website earlier today. i really hope to get to the Park soon to try it, though, but would preferably like to see some photos or videos of it first.

If you visit the park it's pretty obvious. Doubt it will be advertised much until it opens. I Have some photos if anyone's interested in seeing the course. Looks alright, not as good as tower's one though.

Sorry, can't find my more recent photos of it. Took this about two weeks ago though (sorry, poor quality, but like I said I can't find the better photos)

Not finished at this point, but you came make out the basic elements of the course. Actually looks quite high up compared to some others I've seen.

Whoever owns the high ropes building company must have a seriously good marketing team... There won't be any parks without one soon!!

This year, Drayton's fireworks will be themed around star wars: the force awakens. Don't know how they managed to get that, would have though disney would be demanding a high price for the ip. For the event, Drayton will be showing the film in an outdoor cinema, as well as a star wars themed firework and laser display to end the season.

Also, looks like they are doing a summer coaster club. It costs £40, and is strictly for 8-12 year old. It includes:
  • Designing your own coaster theme concept
  • Designing a coaster out
  • 30 minutes exclusive ride time on Ben 10
  • Extra rides on selected other rides (hight restrictions apply)
  • An opportunity to learn about the engineering of roofer coasters

yeah, i heard about that. very dissapointed about the age range, as it's something that i would have loved (I'm very into/knowledgeable about the technical/mechanical side of rides and roller coasters)!
also, i corrected your post (underlined).
