We’re throwing it back to ’96 with this new scare experience inside The Haunting.
The Institute of Metaphysical Research has long since concluded its investigation into the Drayton Green Vicarage, after the team mysteriously disappeared in 1996 with no trace. Until tonight…
I wonder if they will play the original Dr X video
Now from the original story the team were the bodies you see in the 3rd pre show room now I wonder if the team will be actors dressed as Zombies wearing the former uniform and they won’t have light on that reveals the bodies.

its funny in 2015 the final year of the dr x version of the haunting they did a complete overhaul to the pre show with new screens and like an overlay to the video

I think I’m in a more exited for this than exodus too! Exodus seems to be going down a similar route as Big one did in 94! Here’s what you’re getting and it’s going to be this big and this fast. Whereabouts this seems more akin to the Nemesis route in 94 of some secrecy and building the hype via that secrecy. They’ve gone about this in the absolute perfect fashion I’d say.

This also is the earliest Drayton Manor have ever started construction on a new coaster. Victoria Lynn said it will open late Spring so you got to be looking around May time so plenty of time to build the coaster and theme it. Also lets the hype of Nemesis reopening and project Exodus die down a bit.

No it's not. Shockwave construction started in 1992 for a 1994 opening when they laid the foundations with the rapids. The hype for Nemesis and Exodus will be irrelevant as they serve a completely different demographic.
The toilet block cladding is brand new. It gives another hint towards the Wild West theme this is more than likely going to be.
Sherrifs showdown will probably stay the same. I can see Drunken Barrels getting some sort of Saloon theme. The Haunting can quite easily sit as a sort of abandoned plantation manor. Although I think if that has any modifications it will more than likely be limited to the entrance.
I would hedge my bets that the whole reason this is to be a possible Wild West theme in the the first place, is because of Sherrifs Showdown being right in the center of what will be the new area.
It is nice to see Drayton Manor swiftly re claiming their position as a major player again. Possibly the biggest player in the UK market outside of Merlin. Excluding Pleasure Beach, a position it has held for a long time.
