Park is Quite quiet was allowed to lap Shockwave

Loads of flashing flights and 90s music along with loads of signs and pictures of the history of Shockwave have been added to the queue for The Last Stand event, actually makes me a bit emotional Shockwave is ending

Much better weather and ride availability today. Shame it closes at 4.30 having a lovely time

Yes Haunting was still running the Dr X version (much better) and Castle of Screams was indeed free

Having ridden it twenty times today, I can confirm that the train is indeed very rattly. Although not that uncomfortable, in its defence.

Gutted I missed today. Was going to try pop down as I'm only a 20 minute walk away. I just couldn't make it work unfortunately. My last ride has to be confined to earlier this year.

Despite it being old, ironically for me it was the smoothest rides I’ve had in a very long time. Bitter sweet but it will be nice not to worry about heights when I’m with my lad.

Considering the downtime it had at the start of the week, it was riding incredibly today!

I was on the last public train today before the competition rides got on and while I was leaving the staff got last rides on it.

Snap. I'm sure we've had plenty of fun rides today! The lovely photo booth lady noticed how many we'd done and had gone through the past ones and stored them all on a code for us. Really quite a fun day!

It was a nice day. The weather held out and the atmosphere was amazing. It was great getting a last ride pretty much in near darkness. I was on the last public train too before the competition riders.

I loved the lights they installed in the queue line and the 90’s hits they were playing.

Anyway I’m loving the paint colour of the drunken barrels building




I tried to zoom into the plans that were just inside the entrance way.

Ground work for the coaster has moved onto where the former fish and chip shop is now.


Well with now the zoo only open to the 25th Nov and my pass running out on Saturday I won’t be at the park to the Christmas event in 3 weeks time.
